👋 We are the Hodnett Family and owners of Raccoon Reach Rentals in the Great North Woods in Errol, NH.
We have had many new followers on this page and activity recently on our website so we figured we’d reintroduce ourselves.
We are a family of 5 (with a playful chocolate lab) from Dighton, MA who love to be adventurous with our children. Raising children who want to enjoy all that nature offers is important to us. We love to go on hikes, kayaking, exploring in the woods, ATV rides and swimming in all bodies of water!
We have been coming up to visit Errol since 2010 because family moved there. We decided to purchase our first property in 2020 and quickly acquired three properties by 2022 that we have as short term rentals. We LOVE getting the houses ready for guests to enjoy. Whether it is fixing them up, to the tiny details of decorating and amenities. We love hearing guests feedback of what an amazing stay they had in Errol.

It seems our posts aren’t being seen properly- YES! Our trails will open on schedule Friday May 24th 2024! We have several trail closures to note, obey all trail closures (they are CLEARLY marked/blocked off) and all trails are subject to minor washouts and early season conditions. Follow the speed limits, respect the landowners property, and enjoy the trails! See the attached map for further details or send us a message with any questions! Can’t wait to see you all out there this weekend!

Hardscrabble Trail (entire trail)
Cowen Hill Rd (from Willie’s Way to Buzzys Trail)
Farr Rd dead ends after Willie’s Way due to Hardscrabble closure
Black Bear Trail(Very north segment, from Willie’s Way to Farr Rd)
Chainsaw Trail (both segments permanently closed)
