The Lake House Retreat is situated on Cameron Lake in Erskine, MN, with 115 ft of lake front shore with an 18 ft private dock! This vacation rental home comes fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom items so all you have to bring are your clothes and food! We have 5 themed bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. A reading nook, living room, large kitchen and dining room on the main level and a large rec/craft

ing room on the 2nd level. Nearly every room has beautiful lake views. We have a lakefront deck with seating and a Blackstone griddle (in the summer). There is also a private firepit and firewood. Cameron Lake is the perfect lake for kayaking, pontoons and small boats, tubing and swimming. You may even throw a line in and catch a pan fish. Turtles love to sun themselves along the shore and there are many species of birds here including Eagles, Geese and Loons to name just a few! In the warmer months, you may spend your time on the water, crafting, playing yard games, or simply laying in the shade of the Oak trees in the hammock. If you want more activity, we are minutes from golf courses, fishing lakes, boutiques, farmer's markets, restaurants, bars, hiking trails, hunting casinos and so much more! In the winter months watch the Ice Car Racing right from the Lake House deck or in the cozy sitting area in the dining room. There is also ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling trails and more right on Cameron Lake! During the cooler temps of Minnesota, the Lake House is heated by a brand new boiler heating system. During the warmer temps it is cooled by the shade of the oak trees, and window air conditioner or a fan in each room. We also have a portable air conditioner for guests who like it a bit cooler. I found this to be interesting!

I love old stuff…like useful, antique stuff. I found this wrench a few years ago at a rummage/estate sale. I could only imagine how many hands touched it and the projects it was used for. It was the only tool that fit the bolts I was installing on my dock this spring…and it slipped from my grip and was lost in the lake. I could not recover it. I was frustrated and sad as installing an old wood dock is not easy…and this wrench has been my go to. TODAY I got in the water just because I wanted to. My foot landed on something familiar…I dove in and lo and behold this useful tool was at my feet! I cried out “I found it!” To no one but myself but I can’t wipe the smile from my face and the gratitude I feel for recovering my old friend with a history I know nothing about. ❤️

Looks like a fun weekend coming up in Erskine, MN!

We are excited to Announce Dakota Jam is coming to Erskine this Saturday Aug 31st! Street dance in front of The Deuce Bar & Grill 9-close! This band is electric and fun! They will undoubtedly put on an amazing show for you all!

Starting at 3pm we are also having a bags tournament on the patio! Reserve your spot (send a message or call) to get in on the fun! 100% payout to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places! Entry fee is $50 a team double elimination!
