Our beautiful mountain home “On the Rocks” is located in Estes Park, Colorado and is perfect for families (sleeps up to 10). We are just minutes from downtown Estes and also 2 miles to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. There is lots of wildlife in the area to include elk, mule deer, wild turkeys, marmots, humming birds and the occasional black bear and coyote.
During the months of May through the end of October, we rent our home on a 7-night minimum, checking in on a Saturday and checking out the following Saturday. Our home is a pet and smoke free home.
Our cabin “On the Rocks” sleeps 10 and we have another cabin “Linger Longer” that sleeps 8 located across the road. Rent one or both for a family reunion or a memorable family vacation experience.
Our home is approximately 2600 square feet and is situated on over 1.5 acres with rock outcroppings, pine trees and abundant wildlife. It is on a paved street and has a large driveway with easy access year-round and a very quiet location.
Four Bedrooms Total - 2 upstairs. . .one with 2 queen beds and one with a queen pillow top bed. 2 downstairs. . .one with 1 queen bed and one with 1 queen and 1 twin.
All linens, blankets, pillows, towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided.
Two full baths-1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.
Large family living room with moss rock wood burning fireplace. Wireless internet, Satellite TV and DVD player -- with several movies to choose from. Many books to read, DVD movies to enjoy and board games to play.
Huge deck with patio furniture and picnic table-including a charcoal grill and gas grill.
Full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, stove/oven, refrigerator, plates, glasses, utensils, pots and pans. Dining area has seating for 8 just off of the kitchen
There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience.
You can rent our cabin in Estes Park and Ski in Eldora. Eldora Mountain Ski area is only one hour and ten minutes from our home. This easy drive to Eldora, Colorado is a great place for the beginner, intermediate or advanced/expert skier. With over 680 ski-able acres and 53 ski trails this is the place to ski this season. Peak elevation is 10,800 feet and 9,200 feet at the base.
