Relax outside in comfort on the large covered deck or inside in the large Great Room to enjoy the amazing breathtaking panoramic mountain views and wildlife that frequent the adjoining meadow. We can accommodate two additional infants that could sleep in the provided Pack n’Plays. Mary’s Lake Aspen Home is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, and a full laundry room with washer & dryer. It provides ample space for a large family or even two families vacationing together. The unique design features two Master King bedrooms, 1 King bedroom and a Twin bedroom with 2 XL-Twins. There is central air conditioning. In addition to 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, this home has a full laundry room with washer & dryer. The unique design features two Master King Bedrooms, 1 King Bedroom and 1 Twin Bedroom that has 2 XL-twin beds. This home has a 2-zone heating and cooling system to customize upper and lower temperatures. In addition to central air conditioning, we have installed ceiling fans in each room. WIFI throughout, Hulu Live TV, HD TVs in all Bedrooms, Great Room, and Game Room. USB outlets in Kitchen and all bedrooms and a game room with a Blu-Ray DVD player. The Game Room is equipped with a game table, bean bag chairs and a game/movie cabinet. We are kid friendly and provide a Pack-n-Play with linens, baby gate, child booster seats and a high chair that are available for your use during your stay. We also have additional Pack-n-Plays that are available upon request. Absolutely No Smoking and No Pets

Major successes today on the fire line included containing the entire eastern perimeter and increasing containment along the highway 34 corridor.

Alexander Fire Update

Highlights: At 6 a.m. today, August 1, 2024, Southwest Area Incident Management Team 1 took command of the fire. Crews focused today on point specific protection and made good progress protecting high priority areas around the Alexander fire. The public is asked to avoid the area and abide by any posted signage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire Activity: Fire activity occurred primarily on the northern portion of the fire today, which did cause a noticeable smoke plume in the afternoon. Fire also did back down towards Highway 34 today and it did not cross the 34 corridor.

Weather: Above-normal temperatures, around 10 degrees above average, will continue through Monday as a high-pressure system remains over the Rocky Mountains. Daytime heating will result in increasing cloud cover starting tomorrow, August 2, with small chances of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain in the 90s.

Closures, Evacuations and Structure Assessment: The Larimer County Joint Information Center is providing information about evacuation notices, animal evacuations and road closures. For evacuation information visit nocoalert.org or text LCEVAC to 888777. The Joint Information Center can be reached at
970-980-2500. If you believe your property may be impacted by the Alexander Mountain Fire, please call the Damage Assessment Center at 970-980-2800 to provide current contact information to the Office of Emergency Management.

Fire Cause: The cause of the Alexander Mountain Fire is under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the cause and origin of the Alexander Mountain fire is asked to call the Forest Service Law Enforcement Tip Line at 303-275-5266. Be aware of your travel routes!!

❗️TRAVEL ALERT | ROAD CLOSURE - US 36 and CO 7 are CLOSED into Lyons due to the Stone Canyon Fire❗️

⚠️UPDATE - 7:30 a.m. 7/31/24 - The closure at US 36 and CO 66 is open now for locals but roads going north of 36 are closed for evacuees. CO 7 is also open. The US 34 closure is still in place.

⚠️UPDATE - 6 p.m. (7/30/24)- US 36 is closed at CO 66 and at lower Apple Valley Road north of Lyons. Also, CO 7 is closed at Old St. Vrain Road in Lyons due to the Stone Canyon Fire.

This is in addition to the US 34 closure for the Alexander Mountain Fire. The evacuation areas for the two fires have combined.

Multiple neighborhoods in Lyons are under mandatory evacuations as winds continue to shift. There is no estimated time for re-opening.
