If you like being valued by your employer, enjoy taking people through adventure, and find sweeping mountain views a good thing you might want to keep reading!
Open Air Adventure Park is looking for a new assistant manager to help us run our aerial adventure park in Estes Park, CO.
As an assistant manager at Open Air Adventure Park, your first and main job is to provide the level of customer service and management (which includes safety) that leaves our guests and employees feeling valued.
You will help us maintain a company culture that has led to great reviews, staff that love working with us and guests that come back year after year.
We operate as an aerial adventure park and on occasion as a more traditional ropes course with groups coming for team building and team-bonding experiences.
A few of the sweet things you get to do, be in a harness 20 feet in the air looking at amazing views of Rocky Mountain National Park (if you hate heights, fresh air, and sweeping views, we might not be the best fit), helping cashier and book guests, teach guests how to use our equipment, help teach ax throwing (yep, you heard me right... ax throwing), and perform amazing acts of aerial and emotional rescues as needed and supporting our employees to do the same. Housing is not provided.
About You:
We are looking for an assistant manager who loves being outside, likes to support employees, and enjoys taking guests through aerial experiences.
The job can be pretty physical, so we need employees who can lift about 50lbs and work on their feet for the majority of the day (6+ hours). Being that Covid is still a thing, you also need to be willing to follow our Covid protocols to protect us and our guests (we follow local covid protocols).
You will need to attend the staff training that runs from May 23rd through the 27th and be available to work the majority of our season that runs from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend. Work can include weekends and Holidays. We are open Tuesday through Saturday. Some work will be available starting in early May.
What is Open Air Adventure Park exactly? We are an aerial adventure park that offers 32 challenges at 10 and 21 feet in the air that involve, climbing, traversing, swinging, and general monkey play to get through. We offer challenges for just about every fitness level and age. On a daily basis, we get to help our guests overcome fears of heights, challenge their comfort levels and gain some awesome memories of aerial adventure.
