We fell in love with Eureka Springs when we made an unplanned stop here in 2010. We started building our yurt in 2014 and made the move from Frisco, Texas in March of 2015 with our 3 Great Pyrenees Jenna, Bear and Bella. You can follow our build process from the beginning on our website if you want to see how a wooden yurt is built. We started having friends and family stay in the fall of 2018 and

then officially started renting Pine View Yurt, in March 2019. Our second rental yurt is the White Oak Yurt which had it’s first guests stay in August 2019. We have used unique items during the build process trying to bring the outside in. Like the petrified wood sink in the bathrooms and the locally sourced black walnut counter tops and furniture. We love living in our yurt in the woods and hope you will love the yurt experience too. We are located on 32 acres in the much-loved destination of Eureka Springs West! Our cozy and well equipped yurts are the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quiet time together. The over-sized decks offers amazing views of the woods and hollow. It’s also a prime location for viewing the area songbirds and wildlife. Our property has easy access no matter the weather so you can visit year round. We love that you can experience all 4 seasons here. If staying in isn’t your idea of a vacation, then the restaurants, shops, and entertainment of Eureka Springs are minutes away. If you love the outdoors you can bird watch and explore our property. For the adventurous, we are only 1 mile from the drop off for the new downhill mountain bike trails around Lake Leatherwood. If being on the water is your thing, we’re just a few miles from the crystal clear waters of Beaver Lake and the White River. We’ll be happy to give you recommendations and answer any questions you may have so you have the best stay possible in Eureka Springs.

Our 2 handsome bucks plus 1 with a messed up antler that probably got broke in a fight! The right side is starting to grow upwards now so we'll see what he looks like as his antlers grow.

I love seeing this female Pileated Woodpecker feeding her male and female fledglings at the suet feeders! If you stay in one of our yurts you'll have a good chance of seeing them too!

We don't have electricity or water after the storms came through NW Arkansas last night but we still are taking time to remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

We got a new bench at the Carving in the Ozarks auction a few weeks ago. The wood still needs to dry out some before we seal it but it now has a home at the new build sight. It's a great place to sit and enjoy the view.

We would like to introduce Kodiak Bear. He joined our family on March 30th at 8 1/2 weeks old and 23 pounds. Bear and Bella are still trying to decide if they like having a rambunctious puppy in the house! 😀

If you've been looking for a weekend to come relax at our place, White Oak Yurt just had a cancelation for the weekend of August 18th. You can cool off at the White River and Beaver Lake, less than 6 miles from us. We know some good fishing spots and swim areas! There are some weekdays available in July and August.

Here are some of the baby birds that are coming close to the yurts! I was really excited to have a female Pileated Woodpecker take suet up to a fledgling this week! It's not a great picture, but I'm thankful there was an opening through the leaves for me to see it.

We have a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks that had fledgling this year. I've been hearing 2 or 3 young calling out all day long! This one came up close to White Oak Yurt. #eurekayurts #naturelovers #redshoulderedhawk

View of the Woodpeckers at Pine View Yurt! Two Downy, two Red-Bellied and the queen of them all a Pileated Woodpecker hanging out in the tree. This female Pileated Woodpecker has been visiting the suet feeders at both the yurts on a regular basis this year. I've only had one visit before this year. If you can get away during the week to enjoy this view, Pine View has some openings this week and some in April.
