As a member of the Commonwealth, the island maintains strong historical ties. Notably, Captain Bligh introduced the breadfruit tree to the island from the Bounty. Saint Lucia cultivates over 30 varieties of mangoes. The island features seven all-inclusive resorts. Its stunning natural beauty makes me name it "'the Amalfi coast of the Caribbean.'

Fort de France, Martinique, was my favorite island in the Caribbean, boasting a vibrant port with colorful murals, a lovely church, and a fascinating museum. Virgin cruise lines offers the best entertainment at sea. I saw all of the shows on the Resilient Lady cruise. Lola's Library is one of the more risqué shows. Nevertheless, it's considered to be one of the best shows on a Virgin cruise ship.

These pictures were taken on the Intrepid Roam China trip. We had the opportunity to visit the world-renowned Huxington tea house, a venue that has hosted esteemed guests such as Bill Clinton and the Queen of England. We spent 24 hours on a train, during which we encountered numerous friendly locals who were curious about us. Our itinerary included visits to Guilin and Hong Kong. I had the privilege of residing in Shanghai, China for four years and Hong Kong for two years. The Chinese government has stringent immigration policies, prohibiting immigrants from settling permanently. Furthermore, Chinese citizens require a passport to travel domestically, known as the Hukou system, which restricts movement between provinces. This policy prioritizes local residents in major cities, providing them with preference for employment and affordable housing. In contrast, cities like Chicago gives preference to immigrants and people from other states. I also travelled to Chengdu (where I held a baby panda bear and ate hot pot), Le Shan, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Suzhou while i was residing in China. if you're interested in travelling in China, feel free to contact me.

I embarked on a journey to China with Intrepid Travel in the summer of 2003. For those who prefer not to take cruises, alternative options are available. I opted for an overland tour with a reputable company, as I felt it was safer and, at that time, few people spoke English, particularly in remote areas. I had the pleasure of befriending individuals from Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Our itinerary commenced in Beijing, followed by the Great Wall of China, Xi'an, the Longji rice terraces, Guilin, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. We visited iconic landmarks such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army, Guilin, and the Longji rice terraces. Having lived in Shanghai, China for four years and Hong Kong for two, I have also had the opportunity to travel to Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Leshan. One of the highlights of my travels was holding a panda in Chengdu, although unfortunately, my photos were stolen. Are you interested in traveling to China? I embarked on an academic expedition to Belize with my alma mater, which offered a reasonably priced package as it was a class trip. Every student was required to submit a research paper. Some students focused on the Garifuna culture, Jippy Joppa plants, rainforest medicinal plants, mangrove ecosystems, kava, and black howler monkeys. We acquired extensive knowledge on that trip.
