While visiting with my 91 year old (in 1997) grandfather at my condo , I showed him my computer and what it could do . It occurred to me , as I watched his face project amazement, that he had experienced SO many developments throughout his life and the full 20th century. So I asked him if I could interview him on video and make his “ this is My l

ife “ project being who he was , he smiled and said sure. SO I asked him about his earliest memories , child hood experiences, family memories during these early years. We talked about all of the notable historic occurrences which he experienced as a child, young adult and later. He found it fascinating , as well as my relatives who were attending his 100th birthday party where we watched this video of my grandfathers life . I knew I wanted to make more of these , with people I did NOT know , but would certainly get to know through the interview and editing process. Thus , The past comes to life, came to life .
