If you still plan on visiting Disney World in 2020, tomorrow is the big day!

On June 9, I am able to beginning booking tickets and resorts for the rest of 2020. If you are thinking about visiting before the end of the year, don’t delay. Once resorts and parks meet daily capacity limits, we will no longer be able to make reservations for those days.

I am dreaming of the day when I can visit Disney World again. I made a promise to myself that when I successfully make it through teaching third graders online from home, and when we are allowed to travel again, Disney World will be one of my first planned trips.

I am so excited about this ride at Hollywood Studios that features Mickey and Minnie! I am seriously considering a trip to Disney World this summer just to take in this new attraction along with another exciting new attraction opening this summer at EPCOT. People often wonder whether it is best to visit Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California. I can honestly say that both of these Disney properties hold a special place in my heart.

This picture was taken one week ago at Disneyland Park. The weather was beautiful and we had an amazing visit.

Disneyland is a perfect choice for a family vacation because the weather is in the 70s or 80s year round. All three resorts at Disneyland are a short walk to Downtown Disney and the parks. I also love that California Adventure and Disneyland Park are within walking distance of each other. You can leave one park and be in the other park within a few minutes!

Finally, there are a many attractions that you can only find at Disneyland. Classic attractions like Indiana Jones, Snow White, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Matterhorn, Pinnochio's Daring Journey, and the Nemo Submarines can only be experienced in California.

California Adventure is home to Cars Land and it will soon debut the Avengers Campus.

This is the perfect time to visit Disney on the West Coast!

I often recommend that families book a character dinner. Character dinners are a great way to meet many of your favorite characters without having to wait in the long lines in the parks. On my recent trip, we chose a Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park. I was able to meet all of these characters at this breakfast along with others like Captain Hook, Dale, and I even saw the Fairy Godmother!
