Hot Springs County market show class winner. Bred by Maser Show Lambs, a great pairing of S820 (Entity x Obsession) and S101 (Courage x Road Rage). Exhibited by Brook Hubele. They had a great county fair.

EWES SOLD.

4 Blackface Club/Show Lamb ewes available. These girls are sound with great genetics, and have nice lambs. These are not culls. One even dammed a class winner at the Central Wyoming Fair in today’s show. Just reducing the flock a bit more since the help went off to grad school. 4-5 year old ewes. Painful to cut into the keepers, but we’d like them to go to a good home. 275 each. Pick up in Casper.

Both days this weekend we watched the rams and the bengals compete (only for attention on Saturday). The competition must have been healthy because we think it raised the quality of the pictures a few notches!

Quite a big late but time to catch up on results of the poultry shows from both County Fair and State Fair!

At County Fair Afton walked away with: Grand Champion FFA showman, Reserve Champion Duck, Champion English bird, Champion Continental bird, Reserve Champion Bantam, and Reserve Overall Standard Bird (first three pictures)

The Wyoming State Fair was a success too! Afton was Grand Champion FFA showman, had the Champion and Reserve Champion Bantams, Reserve Champion Continental bird, Champion English bird, Champion and Reserve Champion American birds, Overall bird of show with her Champion Bantam, and Overall Premier Youth Exhibitor.

Big thank you to everyone who helped Afton during or before in preparation for either of these two shows!

We were so happy the Wyoming State Fair even happened this year, everything else was just the icing on the cake!

Tag "S027" (Border War x S602) ended up 4th in his class in the WVATA jackpot.

Tag "S008" (Border War x S602) finished 6th in Black Face Division 1 Heavyweights in the youth market show.

Overall that means two of the three lambs we raised and brought to state fair placed and earned a ribbon!

Super excited for what the future holds!

Converse County Fair Results! Champion Speckle Face Lamb, exhibited by Kyler Sorenson. Black face heavyweight class - 1st place, exhibited by Preston Sorenson. Preston's ewe was also the Champion Wether Sire Ewe and Reserve Champion Ewe Overall. Both young men also won their respective age category for showmanship! Congrats and thank you to the entire Sorenson family

Time to catch up on County Fair results! The Central Wyoming Fair has come and gone. We were fortunate enough to place three lambs in top of their respective divisions. Those being: Reserve overall in the feeder lamb division, Class 8 winner, and 2nd place in class 6 (behind the eventual reserve overall champion lamb). In the ultrasound contest one of our S602 ("Jack") wethers was Reserve Overall with a 4 inch ribeye! We also had the Champion Wether Sire Ram who was eventually named the Overall Supreme Champion Ram. The future looks bright and exciting with this ram in the barn! His formal introduction and name are coming soon!

Featured lamb this evening is lot 4 (S032) on the Central Wyoming elite sale on Willoughby auctions. Need to thicken them up? Need to clean up their fronts? We think this guy can do both. Why settle on moving your ewe base just one direction? S032 is super clean and elevated through his chest floor. He has enough look from the side we think he can be competitive in the show ring. This Border War baby also packs a punch, having plenty of both volume and shape of muscle through his rack, loin, and stifle. He is opened up in the middle portions of his body with excellent rib shape. Great genetics on both sides! His grandsires are Bravo and 51. America is the land of opportunity and that's what we think we are offering here.

We are super excited to see this guy go to work in your flock or fight to be behind a backdrop this summer!
