Good evening everybody! We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our Evarts Tourism members and our wonderful community for your help and support throughout 2024!! It truly has been a great year and it is owed to you all! Community support and participation allows our group to continue planning events and creating traditions that we can all share and enjoy!! We look forward to another great year and encourage any and all to become involved and attend our events as much as possible once again!! Happy New Year Evarts!!

Good evening everybody!! Evarts tourism would like to announce the winners of our Christmas light competition! This year we had some great entries and the judges truly did have a hard time deciding the winners. We had two categories. Houses/Businesses, and Campers. Without further ado the winners are as follows:

Houses/businesses
Grand Prize - Darrin and Lisa Middleton $500 & Trophy
Second Place - Ginny Pace Logan $350 & Trophy
Third Place - Megan Thomas $150 & Trophy

City hall will be closed for the Christmas Holiday.

Evarts Tourism would like to thank all who participated in this year’s Christmas parade. We had a terrific crowd and a lot of participants who out done themselves with their decorations and creativity. With that being said here are this years winners! Happy December 1st everyone! As most know we had our tree lighting last night! We had such an awesome turn out despite the cold weather! We would like to thank each and everyone who came out to enjoy this precious time! Thank you to the businesses who stayed open late so people could enjoy Christmas shopping! We will continue to uphold this tradition every year in hope’s we will be able to grow into something bigger and better! In the meantime for those who missed out here are some pictures to enjoy! Once again thank you for your continued support for our little community!

Good evening!! Evarts Tourism is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first in a long time, Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday November 30th around 7:30-8:00PM. We will be across the street from Woodys Hardware and Suzy’s flowers. Our local business in town will be open so that you may check out their Christmas stock and find that special gift! We will also have Willow Grove Baptist Church Youth Group giving out Hot Chocolate and we just may be visited by Santa who will take pictures and visit with the kids! We hope to see you all there and to begin another tradition in our little small town!!

Good evening everyone!! As we posted earlier our Evarts Tourism Tree lighting ceremony will be held tomorrow evening at 7! Along with the festivities, several of our local businesses will be open late to allow you the chance to shop local while you’re out! Woody’s Hardware and Home reached out and provided the pictures below detailing some of the items they will be offering and the sales they will be running! Make sure to stop by and check them out!

Just a friendly reminder we are having our tree lighting tomorrow night at 7:00! Bring your baby’s out for some free hot chocolate served by Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church and caroling from local church’s! Also don’t forget to visit Santa and receive a candy cane with a picture if you’d like!

Good evening everyone! Evarts Tourism is exited to announce our first in a long time, Christmas Light Competition!! We are asking anyone who lives inside the city limits of Evarts to decorate your home or camper as much as you’d like and potentially win up to $500!! You may decorate now until December 20th, but you must message Explore Evarts to enter!! Winners will be announced on December 23rd on our facebook! There will be 3- home winners and 3-camper winners!! Everyone enjoy the competition and we hope this will help spread the Christmas Spirit throughout our little town!!

Good evening everybody!! Some members of Evarts Tourism, Evarts City Council, and Evarts Mayor Eddie Manning, had the pleasure of welcoming Evarts newest business Southern Belle Soul Food with a Ribbon cutting ceremony this evening! Owner Kayla Spain and her staff were so gracious and welcoming, and the food was awesome!! They currently will be open Wednesday thru Sunday 10am-8pm serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Get out when you can, and give this new business a chance!
