With the recent win by the Hibbing/Chisholm Bluejackets giving them top seed in the Class A State tournament, the hockey hype is at an all-time high on the Iron Range‼

The region is deeply rooted in the sport and that is most evident in Eveleth, 'The Home of Hockey'.
🏒 Home of the Hockey Hall of Fame Museum.
🏒 More inductees into the HHFM from Eveleth than any other city in the nation.
🏒 Eveleth is home to a number of goalies who went on to play in the NHL.
🏒 Downtown Eveleth is full of hockey themed restaurants & bars.
🏒 And, of course, it is home to the World's Largest Freestanding Hockey Stick.

Oh, and of course... GO BLUEJACKETS 🙌

Judson Pit in Buhl📍
We got a bird's eye view of the Judson Pit and while it is a relatively small body of water, during the Summer there is a top class Disc Golf course skirting its shoreline & it's a phenomenal spot for kayaking‼️

We'll see how it looks from up here when Summer comes back around 😉

Thomas Rukavina Memorial Bridge📍

It's an amazing view no matter the season and is accessible on bike, on foot or via ATV from the Mesabi TraiMesabi Trailhestnut Street in downtown Virginia 🤍

It goes over the active Rochleau mine pit and was opened in 2017. It stands at 204' and is the tallest bridge in Minnesota 🙌

✨️Trail Update✨️
Mesabi Recreation has been at work grooming the trails at the Virginia Golf Course for fat biking, snowshoeing, skijoring, and small team dogsledding 🙌

The trail entrance is at the new Copper Nickel on the Course-Virginia which has some great food to fill up on after a day out on the trails & locker rooms in their rest area for trail riders to keep their things 😁
