With the upcoming film coming out soon, we wanted to highlight some great spots in Hibbing, MN📍 that Dylan fans will love ❤️

Bob Dylan, or rather Robert Zimmerman, spent his formative years in Hibbing. Visitors can take a guided tour of his childhood home on Bob Dylan Drive where they can see a TON of great memorabilia (including some journals, letters, and even some notes & alternate lyrics for songs).
Tours can be scheduled by calling 608-217-5232 🤳

Just a block away is Hibbing High-school, which was attended by young Bob Dylan and was even visited by Timothee Chalamet while he was researching his most recent role‼️ Use the 🔗 below to see how to reserve a tour of this historic building:

Lastly, there is a permanent exhibit in the Hibbing Public Library where more Bob Dylan memorabilia can be found - no reservations needed to visit.

Looking for a great XC Skiing event?
Carey Lake Ski Challenge returns on February 15th & registration is already open‼ The annual winter course features three different courses, a 12K Classic, an 11K Freestyle, and a 3K Classic that is good for any age.

The Carey Lake Ski Challenge will be held February 15, 2025.  We are located in Hibbing, MN right in the heart of the Iron Range. We're so excited to be adding a lake loop to the classic and skate course!

A view from the top of this past weekend's Twilight Holiday Parade through downtown Virginia, MN 🤍

The parade is the crowning event of the annual Festival of Trees Virginia MN and is the first of our area's big holiday festivals - for more info on upcoming Christmas events on The Range, check out Jingle All The Range 🎅

❄️ Winter Season for the Sax-Zim Bog ❄️
The Sax-Zim Bog Welcome Center reopens on December 1st for their highly anticipated winter season‼ The Center will be open from 10AM-3PM daily through March 9th (with the exception of Christmas Day).

The Welcome Center hosts a variety of workshops & classes and also provides area maps and snowshoes for visitors 🤍

The Sax-Zim Bog also holds guided field trips and classes that visitors can find on their website using the 🔗 below:

A new floating bridge installation was officially opened on Silver Lake in Virginia, MN📍 today‼️

The bridge will be accessible during the winter and echoes back to a time when a railway once crossed over the lake in the early 1900's.

Silver Lake is also home to the giant Loon that floats in the lake during the Summer; with the new floating walkway visitors will have an easy vantage point for photo ops with the Loon, and plenty of great spots for ice fishing in the meantime 🙌

📣Offroad News📣
Volunteers have worked to build nearly 2 miles of ORV trail at the Iron Range OHV Park; The Minnesota 4 Wheel Drive Association will be finishing up the signage for the trail with an expected grand opening of Spring 2025‼

The new trails feature a variety of terrain & elevation along with boulder fields for a challenging experience. Off roading enthusiasts should keep an ear out and have their rides prepped for the trail opening this coming Spring 🙌
