We had to take a step back and look, in just, utter confusion and disgust with what’s happening with Last Line and Ryan.
This is where we stand!!!
To openly degrade a Honorably Discharged Veteran, a person must not have two brain cells to rub together. How it’s it even remotely logical? The only reason a person is able to even have a platform is, in fact, because of a Veteran.
I keep trying to understand the logic when they openly try to break others down, especially Veterans. If someone doesn’t understand the Brother and Sisterhood that is the US Military then I can see how they would make such bold statements. Veterans, especially combat veterans, are not the same as your regular citizen.
A Veteran is not a person that can be openly attacked with no repercussions, I can only guess a “reporter” doesn’t have the time to do research. And to be walking such a thin line that is hate speech. Guess it’s easy to sit behind a computer 30-45 mins away and spew idiocracy. If an issue is that important to a person then the proper steps would be taken to resolve the issue…not what’s happening in this situation.
What on God’s green Earth has anybody accomplished, more than a Veteran, that gives them the right to say anything and try to destroy? You realize other countries hate us to the extreme and if they had a path to destroy our freedoms, they would. What happens when that day comes, who stands between the real “Bad Guy” and our way of life? The same people that you are making these bold statements about.
You can’t be rational with idiocracy…
I refuse to believe that God Fearing, Country Loving people do not know how they still have their freedoms. Even if it is to run their mouth for pennies, they would know deep inside, “the only reason I can do this is because of those that have fought and died to protect my freedom”. We have free speech 100% but don’t forget how you still have that right.
Again, the lack of intelligence is extremely telling. I’ll digress on that…it only fuels hate to give it acknowledgment.
Now on to Ryan. I really hope he is seeing these messages from this community. I also hope someone can get him this message, from us.
Ryan,
The first time I met you is a memory burnt into my core. The passion and drive you showed for your mission with Last Line, is in part what inspired us and our goal.
See when we met about 5 yrs ago, you had no idea who we were or what our dreams were to give back to Veterans, especially with PTSD. We wanted to start a business and it be (in part) a retreat.
The main focus of the retreat was to have a cabin built for each of the branches. These cabins main purpose was to provide a place, completely free, for Veterans to have a place to get away and just breathe. As a PTSD rated Veteran myself, I know how crucial it was/is to have a place to go.
As you were describing your mission, my wife and I looked right at each other knowing what the other was thinking “Our goal is to make that happen!”
We had that business and nonprofit wheel turning before I met and shook your hand on that day. Your passion threw gasoline on our ideas and turned those ideas into our passion. Just a few short years later…enter Palmer Farm and Retreat, LLC.
Besides close friends and family, no one has known what we are about and our passion. So, glad you are now the first person outside our circle that we can share this with. (Yes, I understand others will see this as soon as I post…) No one can understand how much effort it takes to start a business, let alone navigating the paths to give back to others, until they have had the challenges. We understand…
Everything you said that day did nothing, but make us walk away with pure inspiration and a smile on our faces. It was refreshing being in the same room with a fellow Veteran that shared the same deep desire to help our fellow Veterans, as we do. We still have the two hoodies we bought that day and wear them with pride knowing what your business is standing for.
We want to do something for you. We will have to connect, so please reach out to me.
Our desire is to donate to your cause. If you don’t want that, then you name the cause and the money will be donated in your name.
We have an Event set for Nov 2nd. We are going to ROCK THE FARM with Seize Fire. We would love for you to come out and be a VIP guest to see what your passion inspired. To see our beginnings unfolding right before your eyes, due to you being who you are…The fun loving guy that this town and community want to see succeed and love.
44% of our direct earnings, after costs, will either be donated to your charity or one in your name. 22% not only to Honor you and all your hard work, but also 22% to continue the awareness of “22 too many”.
We hope you reach out. IGY6’.
Respectfully,
Buddy Palmer
USAF Veteran
