Had a quick emergency response call dive/ tow job this morning for a local waterman who caught his own pot in his wheel. Easy morning. Than awesome guided kayak trips this morning/ afternoon. We can handle it all! But hey I found a dinglehopper that was littering the shoreline.

Caulk and paint make her what she ain’t! I wanted a “brick and mortar” storefront up at the lot where I sell my crabs but I don’t have $250k to get a building built. So instead I spent the last couple months rebuilding this $700 workboat into my new Crab Stand.

Tickets can be purchased online at our website, by phone at 410-425-3351 (daily from 12 PM - 4 PM), in person at the Smith Island Cultural Center, or by mail. Please note, mail orders must be received by September 13th to ensure timely delivery of your tickets. Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out, so we encourage you to secure your tickets soon.

There’s so much to do on the island when you visit us. The smith island cultural center is a gem and is open every day this summer from noon-4pm. Oh the HH Ranch is 2 doors down from the Smith Island Bakery. You can get a slice half or whole cake. And they have an amazing gift shop with lots of good local art. And if you’re hungry stop by the Bayside Inn for lunch. And their gift shop has lots of goodies and local made art. Also for a quick snack Harborside has amazing crab cakes and some basic necessities. Then you also should stop by the oil dock and pick up anything you may have forgotten from the mainland. Well almost anything. All of this is in within walking distance of the HH Ranch. If you’re adventurous take one of our two kayaks and head over to Tylerton and explore there. A stop at Drum Point Market is a must! Can’t wait to see you on the island this summer. So much to offer!!

After months of hard work and dedication, we are thrilled to announce that renovations are finally complete, and WE ARE OPEN! Visit us daily from 12pm-4pm and embark on a journey through our rich cultural heritage.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our supporters for your patience and understanding during this transformative period. Your unwavering support has been invaluable as we navigated through numerous changes.

Now that our museum doors are officially open, our next focus is on sending out membership cards to our loyal members. Stay tuned for updates on this front!

Our tournament starts tomorrow. Lines in at 6am Friday May 24. If you’re on the island stop by the HH Double H Ranch on Smith Island and say hi! And don’t forget the welcome reception around 530pm Saturday at the Ewell FD. Meet the islanders and fellow anglers. All are welcome and food and drinks provided.

The HH Ranch is available this weekend for festival. Bring your boat and stay on Smith Island after the festivities.

Who’s ready for another Saturday of fun?! Join us at the Shop Local Delmarva Barn BQ on June 15th. Great event for the whole family. We’ll be whipping up more of that famous Tangier Classic BBQ chicken and there’s a ton of activities for the whole family.
