“On March 24, the Department of State updated the processing times for U.S. passport applications. Routine processing will take 10-13 weeks and expedited processing, which costs an additional $60, will take 7-9 weeks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is lifting its COVID-19 testing requirement for airline travelers coming into the country. It's a major change for the travel industry.

FYI, the CDC dropped its risk advisory for cruise travel, but cruise lines still have guidelines in place for passengers, such as vaccination requirements. Each cruise line has its own protocol.

"The CDC emphasizes that travelers should make sure they're up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines before taking a cruise, in addition to following their ship's requirements and recommendations against the virus.

Travelers are urged to check their cruise ship's COVID case levels and vaccination requirements online before traveling, the agency says."

Grateful to Royal Caribbean International and The American Society of Travel Advisors for this chance to sail on the incredible Odyssey of the Seas. It has been a smooth and beautiful voyage and we have felt safe and cared for throughout the sailing. Captain

Ok, so honestly it has taken a few days to get into vacation mode due to holiday exhaustion and covid craziness, but on Day 3 of this lovely cruise I can say that my brain has finally been set to relax. Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas is an incredible ship with an amazing array of activities for young and old. Bumper cars, bungee jumps, water slides, an incredibly high view in a bubble and so much more with the Perfect Day at Coco Cay as icing on the cake. Don’t give up on your cruise dreaming! If not now, later - and it will be worth the wait!
