August 14 Music with Reindeer wraps up the season with the South Cushman Social Club.

South Cushman Social Club was established 20 years ago in a small warehouse on the far fringes of South Cushman street in Fairbanks, Alaska. The club members come from all walks of life and musical backgrounds, but the love of a good groove is central to the club charter. The meetings focus on songs from a wide variety of traditions including, but not limited to blues, folk, latin, jazz, rock, reggae, and metal. Spontaneous dancing and foot tapping routinely breaks out at meetings and a fun time is had by all who love to groove.

The weather is great, and the reindeer are in their summer prime, it's time for a walk with the reindeer!

Last February we hosted The Sound of (Black) Music at Runniing Reindeer Ranch. The Fairbanks Concert Association says "they had a blast! Most were from California and New York, so our cold temps were really new to them and they were blown away by this adventure with your reindeer."

The Fairbanks Concert Association is just one of the organizations we have supported over the years.

"OMG, one of the best experiences of my life! Having the chance to walk amongst a herd of reindeer in Alaska was simply magical. "The guides were incredible and had so much knowledge to share. At the end of the visit, you knew all the guides and the reindeer by name. I did happen to fall in love with Forrest (run Forrest, run), but Toby (the big diva) stole a piece of my heart too. Such a wonderful time and I can't wait to come back in a different season."

If you are cutting birch, willow, alder, aspen or cottonwood please keep us in mind! Please no ornamentals! They also love chickweed, dandelions and lambs quarters but no vetch!
