Group price: $7,250.06 per balcony cabin which includes: taxes, fees, port expenses, 35% discount per person, free at sea beverage and dining package and prepaid service charges. One person in the cabin also receives $50 off an excursion in each port. If you are military, you are entitled to an additional 10% off -- just sign up with ID.me and provide me the information.

This price does not include airfare or travel protection, but it can be added at an additional cost. Airfare through Norwegian is buy one, and the other flies for free. At the time, I was quoted $1,618 airfare to fly from Burlington. You do not have much say in the flights that Norwegian books for you, however!

Who loves Halloween? Well, I know that A & B do, because I just booked them at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort in a family suite so that they can enjoy both the parks and Halloween Horror Nights complete with express passes so they make the most of their time there! They will also have a day at Disney Springs and a day at Epcot!

To all you Disney FANatics -- there are so many new things to tell you about. I've already posted about the upcoming park changes to Disney World and the new Lightning Lane system.

Now, you need to prepare yourself for Disney's newest cruise ship, DISNEY DESTINY!!! Nobody does anything like Disney -- with its epic experiences and unique spaces, dining, characters and entertainment! Disney Destiny's homeport will be at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale! Her maiden voyage is scheduled for November 2025. Check this ship out so that when the booking windows open, you can be one of the first people to book a wonderful Disney cruise vacation. I’ve been itching to book a trip for someone!!! Who better than for my hubby and me! Today I booked us a cabin for the weekend of Maine Open Lighthouse Day so I can see Maine’s beautiful lights! My plan includes taking a ferry from near Pemaquid Point out to Monhegan Island! We will see a couple lights, hike along the rugged coast, grab some good food and — to keep Rob interested, there is a brewery on the island!!!

Our 37th anniversary and my 65th birthday are both in September! I love lighthouses, and this had been a pretty regular weekend trip we would do prior to Covid! On my 60th birthday, we stayed at the Prospect Harbor a/k/a Gull Cottage lighthouse (pictured below) in ME— loved it there! It had a bad fire a year or two ago. At the time, it was a Navy base … and Cory was the one who told me about it! I’ve also stayed in the Keeper’s Cottage at West Quoddy light. I’ve always dreamed of having a lighthouse B&B! So peaceful being at them and on the water!

I’m looking forward to being in mid-coast Maine for the weekend; but, wished Open Lighthouse Day was for an entire week!!!
