The number 5 reason we're excited about The #DRiV here at OKA is because it helps individuals understand #WHEN they should do things.
One of my favorite books in the leadership development space is "When" by Daniel Pink. This book explains the importance of when we do things throughout our day.
We all inevitably have to do things that drain us. How can we be strategic about WHEN in our schedule that we do them. Can we schedule those draining things early in the morning when we are at our freshest? For example, #compliance is a drainer for me, but it is something that I need to do in my role. Therefore, I have started to be intentional in my day about when I do things related to the compliance definition of "strictly adhering to and enforcing existing rules, guidelines, and processes."
