First haircuts in Disney!!! ✂️

I also LOVE that this was truly their first haircut and that I have these memories forever. Can’t put a price tag on CORE MEMORIES!!

HUGS ARE BACK!!!! We, as humans, need hugs, we need that social interaction and I am SO grateful Disney is moving in the right direction. I am so excited that the next time my children come to Disney they are able to hug their favorites. I know I have to get to Disneyland because there are a lot more attractions for the movie Cars, like CARS LAND!!! My son would go absolutely nuts. Right now, he’s on a Cars 3 kick. I cry at the end of every Cars movie. I never appreciated the Cars trilogy until I had to watch them 1 million times each.

But for me, hugging Elsa is the equivalent of Lightning McQueen for my son. Even though you can’t see Elsa’s face, the smile on mine couldn’t be more real. I also love the pictures on this post because they all happened at different stages of my life. My first trip with boyfriend now husband, my first trip with my stepsons, my honeymoon, my pregnancy announcement! Now with the next pictures, it will be the first time my children can hug Mickey and Minnie 🤍♥️

Haven’t actually posted in SO long.. here’s what you missed over the past like 2 months…
I went to Disney with JUST my sister for Galentine’s Day weekend in February. As some of you followed our journey on my Instagram story, it didn’t capture how much fun and quality time we got to spend together. If I am ever with my sister, my parents are there or my kids or my husband and there is NOTHING wrong with that, but sometimes you need some sister time. I didn’t think I needed it but I did. We enjoyed each others company, got hangry together, complained about our feet being broken, laughed so hard, made videos, made friends, ate and drank around the world (mostly ate) and took 287 pictures in 2 days 😂

If you’re going to Disney with me, we’re getting Memory Maker and we are MAKING ALLLLL OF THE MEMORIES. We had photo shoots together and solo, and during one of them we had the craziest poses that the cast member asked for. When we got the pictures back we laughed so hard tears started streaming down our faces.

We met Mickey and rode all the rides that we wanted. I finally wasn’t pregnant or had to wait with a baby so that was exciting for me. I rode Slinky Dog for the first time, even though I was there 4 times after Toy Story Land opened.

All in all, if you made it to the end of this post, just go on a trip with your siblings. Just go. Book the trip with me. ✨ Eat some food, drink the drinks, ride the rides, meet the Mouse and most importantly make the memories. 🤍 love you goob

I have now. I cannot help myself when I go to Disney and I get in a store. The last trip I bought myself two outfits, ears, an ornament and some take home souvenirs for my kids. Comment if you want to know what the take homes were!

We went Valentine’s Day weekend ♥️ and that Saturday day was HOT… at night we needed to buy sweatshirts. 🥶

We also went to Disney in October when they had a heat wave so our October weather is inflated 😂 But 80 in Orlando is HOTTTT!

Who doesn’t love a DISNEY family costume!? 🎃👻

We took this first picture before my husband left for the weekend, because you know, we needed our head villain, Captain Hook! 🪝We later realized his hook should be on his left hand, but I digress.

Then Aunt Jessica wanted to come in on the action because she was going to spend Halloween with us. So we needed to keep a villain with us so Smee it is!! Even though i think that Smee wasn’t truly evil 🏴‍☠️ Just a good follower.

I love dressing up and matching, and Halloween is a perfect excuse to go all out. We had a great Halloween at a trunk or treat in a nearby town. My son saw a dad dressed up as the Beast and he was OBSESSED! He was roaring back and forth. Now our homework this week is to watch Beauty and the Beast. It is my favorite so I’m excited to share this experience with him.

I absolutely love being in Disney with my family. Just walking down Main Street and seeing their faces light up, just makes me cry happy tears. 😭😭

✨I cannot wait to have my children grow up with Disney just like I did. I was able to go to Disney two times when I was younger which is a lot more than my friends did. But my children will be going to Disney every year because we are DVC members. We are extremely lucky to have that opportunity.

OH and Photopass is a MUST!!!

✨ I know this isn’t a Magic Shot for Magic Shot Monday, but I absolutely love this picture. A few reasons why I love this picture…

✨This was the first time I went to Disney with my boyfriend in 2015. We were only dating for 8 months before we took our first vacation together. I didn’t know he was such a huge Disney fan until it came up in one of our conversations. I told him about the time my dad won a trip to Disney on Jammin 105.1 for 4 days and 3 nights, JetBlue flight and a stay at Coronado Springs. My mom would have the radio on constantlyyy. You had to call in once you heard a particular song. But my mom took us pumpkin picking and told my dad YOU BETTER CALL!! If you know my dad, you know that isn’t his thing. So we are on our way home from the pumpkin patch, we hear the song, turn onto our block, the song stops and the dj says, You’re called 105 what’s you leave name? CARMELO. We went CRAZY! We pull into our driveway and we see CARMELO standing in the doorway all smug 😂 Going back, this man is now my husband of almost 3 years.

✨Another reason why I love this picture is because I love the way I look. I’m postpartum now 5 months, with two babies under 19 months old (I never wanted to be the mom that spoke in months LOL) But I see this picture and I strive to feel like her again. Confident and strong. You know sometimes when you look back at picture you thought you could lose some pounds, but now you’re like WHAT WAS I THINKING I LOOKED FANTASTIC. That is what’s happening to me now. You always think you can better yourself just a little bit more. But looking back, I looked and felt comfortable in my skin and that is what matters.

✨My first Disney vacation “thank you” package going out tomorrow! Once I started as a Smart Moms Disney Travel Agent, I always thought about what to give my clients as a thank you. I thought about just getting stickers for the kids, or coloring/activity books. But I wanted to do more. I really wanted to show appreciation for them trusting me with their trip for their family.

I have decided to team up with and for my thank yous. Katie designed and cut luggage tags with a hidden Mickey hole while Agatha and her father embroidered my clients favorite character Mickey-ified on baseball caps. Oh and I threw in some stickers because who doesn’t love stickers!!?

The gifts aren’t too extravagant but they are just personalized enough to show how much I care. I want every trip that I plan to be the most magical and to feel the pixie dust all the way from NJ.

I know I haven’t posted in awhile, but a lot of things have been going on. Doctor appointments, phone calls, two little babies 13.5 months apart and weddings, just to name a few.

Here is my family filling up a whole Splash Mountain boat. 8 passengers and one great memory of being together. I know Disney is recreating this ride, but I wish it was Moana themed! My son has been on a Moana kick and ever since then, I thought that would have been the perfect pick for the “princess” with the animal sidekick (daughter of the chief). If you put this movie on mute, I would be able to recite the whole film for you.

Also, I saw that the quote I used from the movie caused controversy. “If you wear a dress and have a animal sidekick, you’re a princess.” Why is wearing a dress as a princess so bad? I love wearing dresses and I love wearing pants. And trust me I loveeee wearing sweatpants. There’s just something about putting a dress on that makes you feel like a princess 👸🏻 Obviously princesses can wear whatever clothes she wants, but the dress gives you that twirly feel ✨

AND Who would have thought that I would have the opposite hand up as my husband!? We were in sync without even realizing it!

✨Magic Shot Monday! I was 5 months pregnant when we went to Disney with a 9 month old! I was extremely upset that every picture from my son’s first trip to Disney had masks on. Obviously he didn’t have to wear one, but you couldn’t see all of our smiles underneath those masks. I know I’m very upset again that mask mandates are back for indoor, transportation, and during rides. I hope this mask mandate will end before the start of the 50th anniversary in October.
