Doug Dunaway says, "I got this truck from a lady I met doing work on her house. Her husband was in the process of restoring it when he was diagnosed with cancer. Shortly after I met her her husband passed he was a firefighter the community gathered and done a fundraiser to help finish what Pete had started. He was able to see the truck a few days before he passed. The truck set in a wooden building in the backyard for over 10 years. Susan Petes wife knew my passion and love for the truck I often asked about it over the years she would have me do things to the truck to help keep it running. To make a long story short Susan Pete’s wife decided she needed a change and decided to move. She called me and asked me to help her move I agreed when it was time to move the truck she handed me the keys and said don’t ever sale it pass it on to your boys and then to there boys promise me this and the truck is yours. Over whelmed and wiping tears from my face I promised. I hope my boys will keep the same promise to me. It’s not just a truck it’s the compassion, trust and love that came with the truck that is so dear and near to my heart that Susan showed me that still exists in people." Nice truck.
