The guys at the speedway said the National Guard guys that came there to help were goofing off and riding the pallet jacks down the hills like sleds and not getting the much needed work done. He had them moved and got some great Regular Army troops from the 82nd out of Fort Bragg and he said those guys are great! No doubt, go Army! Those guys are the best! Saw a post the other day where the 101st from Fort Campbell had got there on Oct 6.
No FEMA in sight today. They have really been moving the supplies out fast from the speedway. They were down to basically nothing before we got there.

These folks need warm clothes now. I may try and send more his week. I will take warm clothes, all sizes or money and I will get it to my peeps in NC to the east of the devastation and she will get it to a drop off.

Update to North Carolina donations. We are totally good on used clothing. We can take NEW clothing. With the exception of good winter coats.

Still have a need for baby formula, baby diapers, goats milk formula and non perishable food.

October 18-We are taking a semi trailer load of donated supplies to Hurricane Helene Relief victims in North Carolina. Drop off donations at the shop 8231 S. 200 W, Fairmount, IN 46928. For monetary donations call me and I will text you back. Any Questions call or text Patty 765-661-4116.

Diesels in Dark Corners Show & Shine will have 7 classes now. Dodge, Ford, GM, Old School, Gas, Semi, & Bad & Busted.
-$40 entry, $20 veteran/public safety with ID.
-We are also opening up a pre registration form, it doesn't guarantee a spot, it just cuts down on entry time && helps us get a potential truck count. To pre register email [email protected]. Payment will still be due at the gate.
-registration opens at 11, Show is 12-4, competitor only voting this year 3:30-4

We have 4.2 bellhousing blankets in for the NV4500 and NV5600/G56 transmissions! These meet Pro Pulling League and NTPA safety rules. I still have some 4.1 blankets available if you would like some extra protection for a QuickTime or other unlined bellhousing.

Most important on the agenda is we better all get on our knees and say a prayer for our country and someone shot at Mr. Trump in Pennsylvania today and hit his ear. This is not ok people. The left has gone way too far this time. Prayers to Mr. Trump and for our country.
