A huge thank you to Christopher's and Councillor Linda Pereira for organizing the Holiday Window Display Contest and helping spread so much holiday magic throughout Fall River this season! 🎄✨ Local businesses went all out, creating stunning storefront displays that brought joy to the community.

Special congratulations to the winners: Olivia’s Floral & Gifts🏆, Ray’s Flower Shop and Patenaude Jewelers 🥈, and TJ’s Music and Sheri’s Place 🥉. Thank you for going all out and spreading so much beautiful joy!

✨ What a year it’s been! As 2024 comes to a close, we’re celebrating all the incredible moments that made this year unforgettable for Fall River. From Fall River Restaurant Week in March to the debut of the Fall River Trolley and exciting events like the Spooky Stumble bar crawl, we’ve shared so many amazing experiences together. 🎉

Our community came alive with highlights like the Small Business Capital Resources Expo, the Storytime Trolley for kids, and the Southcoast Snackdown, a sweet bread competition showcasing local talent. Plus, we’re proud to have moved our Viva Fall River Visitors Center & Shop to its new home at 38 Granite Street!

Have you checked out this year’s presépio (nativity scene) at Portugalia Marketplace? 😍🎄🇵🇹

The presépio is a central part of Christmas celebrations in Portugal and is a symbol of the country’s culture.

Now in its 11th year, the Portugalia presépio is painstakingly created over the course of 5 days by an Azorean artist and includes over 500 hand-painted figurines and even includes motorized features! Each crevice and corner of the display shows different, highly detailed scenes of folklife activities and beloved traditions, such as the Santo Christo Procession and Romeiros.

Stop by and take in this feast for the senses while you’re shopping for items for your holiday feast! On display until Jan 10.

It might have been cold, but our hearts were warmed with Christmas cheer thanks to the Olde Towne Carolers and The City of Fall River 🎄🎵 thank you to everyone who came out tonight for the Holiday Harmonies Trolley Tour and a very special thank you to Choco-Latte Cafe for the delicious hot chocolate bar! They still have plenty of delicious treats available so be sure to stop by their Sixth St. cafe and get those last minute stocking stuffers!

Speaking of last-minute gifts the Viva Visitors Center & Shop will be open tomorrow from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Christmas Eve from 10 AM to 3 PM. We still have a few Feliz Natal holiday boxes available! Ready to gift- let us help you finish your shopping list 🎁

The Holiday Harmonies Trolley Tour kicks off today, and we’re wrapping up the magic with the final stop at the Viva Fall River Visitors Center & Shop at 5:40 PM! 🎶

The Holiday Harmonies Trolley Tour is rolling through Fall River this Sunday, December 22nd from 3 to 6 PM, spreading cheer across the city! Don’t miss the final stop at the Viva Fall River Visitors Center and Shop at 5:40 PM—and we’ve got something extra magical planned!
