The only tears in the crowd on Friday night were from laughing too hard- what a show! 🤣👏🏼

The inaugural “Viva Fall River Experience” trolley tour and comedy experience was a huge hit!

Thank you to The Portuguese Kids for doing what they do best 🏆and giving the crowd an evening of improv they won’t soon forget.

A big “Obrigado” to Portugalia Marketplace for an intimate and engaging after-hours tour of the store and providing a first-class tasting of Azorean cheese and wines from Portugal. Every visit to Portugalia is special, but this one was incredible! 🤩❤️

The guests were also treated to a guided historical tour of the city on the one and only Fall River trolley before they were whisked off to their final destination, the incomparable TA Restaurant for a delicious three-course, family-style meal that made the night complete. 🇵🇹

We only have one question- when are we going to do this again? 🤨 Stay tuned for more tours and unique experiences from Viva Fall River! ✨✨✨

It was a frosty, but fun, morning at the Watuppa Reservation on Saturday! Thank you to the Water Department and Reservation Superintendent Mike Labossiere (and friends) for an informative, hands-on demonstration of maple tree tapping. The kids had a great time and everyone is super excited for the maple syrup! 🍁🥞

✨ Exciting News for Fall River! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that Viva Fall River has been awarded funding through MassDevelopment’s TDI Creative Catalyst initiative! 🎉

This grant will support the Durfee High School Fashion Design & Advanced Textile Manufacturing Workforce Pipeline, an innovative program designed to connect local students with hands-on experience in fashion design and advanced textile manufacturing—two industries deeply rooted in our city’s history and future.

With this funding, we’ll create opportunities for students to develop in-demand skills, collaborate with industry professionals, and explore career pathways in the creative economy. This initiative is a step toward strengthening Fall River’s workforce and ensuring the next generation is equipped to lead in fashion and textile innovation!

A huge thank you to MassDevelopment and all our partners - Fall River Public Schools, B.M.C. Durfee High School, and MassHire - for supporting this vision, and to Specialized Career Guidance for bringing their workforce pipeline program to our community!
