Fallon is on Highway 50, 60 miles east of Reno. It is surrounded by farms and ranches, and the Lahontan Valley Wetlands - a birder's paradise. Fallon offers the outdoors, the arts, shops, and a menu of special events year round including a summer farmer's market and the Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe Festival. The Navy's TOP GUN School is located here. And Fallon is a destination for meetings and small conventions. Come to play or come to stay.

U.S. Navy has teamed up with Santa Claus and is pleased to announce his flyover of the city of Fallon, Nevada, on Thursday, December 19, 2024. 🎅🏻

Santa’s flyover will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time and will feature an MH-60S from the Naval Aviation Warfighting
Development Center (NAWDC) Search and Rescue at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, the Navy’s premier
tactical aviation training facility.

Join us for the Convoy of Lights parade and celebration this Saturday, December 7th, at 6:00 pm! ⭐⭐⭐

Toys for Tots has a large presence in Churchill County where they accept donations to give to children who would otherwise go without gifts at Christmas. The High Desert Grange is committed to supporting those people and groups whose actions benefit the good of our community. To enter this growing annual event, a toy or cash donation to Toys for Tots is required. Trucks, tractors, trailers, ATVs, and UTVs are permissible entry vehicles. However, no animals are allowed.

Opened in 1920 and once considered the "Finest Theater in Nevada," The Fallon Theatre had a few facelifts over the years but has kept open!

The theater represents nearly a century of entertainment and business history in Fallon and Churchill County and is among 155 other resources throughout Nevada listed in the State Register.

Today, the Fallon Community Theater (FCT) owns and manages the theater. They have restored the stage, rehabilitated the seating, and repaired the marquee and the roof. Bringing new life to the theater, the FCT shows movies, screens special events, and hosts a community theater group and a comedy event.
