We had an awesome week of sailing the British Virgin Islands over Christmas week 2024. We were on a Lagoon 50 catamaran with 8 guests and 2 crew. The weather was perfect. Everyone was very active with snorkeling, scuba diving, and enjoying the beautiful waters of BVI. 😎

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Everyone had an awesome time watching the fireworks on Follow That Dream on New Year's Eve! 🤩

As Bleecker said, " This is the best way to watch fireworks! Laying on the trampoline, drinking champagne, surrounded by good friends, and right under the fireworks display!" 💖 We could not agree more!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! After the 3-hour sunset sailing charter on New Year's Eve we docked Follow That Dream at the Fernandina Harbor Marina and were joined by additional guests to view the fireworks! 💥 Chef Mir prepared some awesome food and we finished over a case of champagne! 😋

NEW YEAR'S EVE SAILING! We has a wonderful afternoon/evening sailing on New Year's Eve with some awesome people on-board. 😎 The weather was perfect with bight sunshine, 79 degree temp and winds 15-20 kts. We got run out of the St. Mary's Channel numerous times by the USCG due to a submarine coming out of Kings Bay, but it never did (I did see that it went out to sea the next day). This was a fantastic way to wrap up 2024! 💖

USVI Sailing Adventure Highlight Video

We enjoyed a wonderful sailing adventure around the US Virgin Islands with some awesome guests on-board. We visited Christmas Cove (Pizza Pi), Hawksnest Beach, Coral Harbor (Lime Out VI), Annaberg Sugar Plantation, Magens Bay, and Water Island. We love showing people the beauty of living on a catamaran and some gorgeous scenery.

We did a golf cart tour of Water Island today. The weather was perfect. We went and saw an old fort and had lunch up on top of the island. It was a fantastic final day - tomorrow we are heading back to the marina to disembark.

After leaving Coral Harbor we stopped at Leinster Bay and our guests got to tour the Annaberg Plantaion. In 1780, the plantation primarily produced sugar, though it also made rum and molasses. It stands as a reminder of the Danish colonial era of Virgin Islands history; a time when the sugar industry was in full swing and hundreds of enslaved Africans were forced to work under harsh conditions. Today, Annaberg provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the plantation's role in the African slave trade as well as how it produced its goods.
