• Perfect Illusion •
When you look closely you can see the beak sticking out between the top of the wings on a totally different spot than you would expect!
I had noticed that in the late afternoon the ibises would sometimes land in a way that projected their head shadow onto their wings. So I set up and many hundred images later I got one shot that had the perfect silhouette!

This young filly has been snaked out of her band on the Southend of Cumberland Island National Seashore and is the proud lady of a young stallion. She follows him closely everywhere!
