As part of this initiative, we’re hosting an ART CONTEST with the theme "Traveling Through Life with Art." 🌍🎭

Thanks to The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation's Paul H. Casebolt Veterans Fund and the recommendation of Hancock County Veterans Service Office, we were able to provide this hardworking, AWESOME group of high schoolers with a free painting class - a relaxing break from the school day and a fun way to socialize with their peers. We had 29 students in total, and they did AMAzing!

Today we had a fabulous time bringing two generations together for play-based art making!!!

We're hiring a new instructor! Awakening Minds Art (AMA) is looking for someone passionate, driven, and flexible. Artsy - no degree necessary, but willing to learn and grow, and this time around, we're particularly looking for someone with plenty of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

We had a lovely class with Cancer Patient Services of Hancock County Healing Arts participants today!This monthly class is open to survivors and family members.
Although not everyone was super happy with their paintings today (that happens 🤷🏼), this group turns up for each other!

We felt the support, and sometimes just showing up means you're starting to heal 🩷
