BREAKING NEWS: MASKS NO LONGER REQUIRED OUTDOORS

Walt Disney World has announced that it will follow the latest CDC and Orange County COVID-19 guidance and, beginning May 15th, will no longer require masks to be worn at Walt Disney World when outdoors.

Please note that masks will continue to be required while indoors unless seated in a restaurant and actively eating or drinking.

Halloween Boo Bash!

Disney just announced an all new after-hours Halloween event on select nights starting August 10th. this will be a 3-hour Halloween-themed even featuring Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings throughout the park, special performances by the Cadaver Dans, decor, lighting, music, and trick-or-treating throughout the park!
Tickets will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary First details:

It’s an event five decades in the making!

Beginning Oct. 1, Walt Disney World Resort will throw “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of our 50th anniversary, bringing new experiences to our four theme parks and beyond. This milestone is such a big deal, we’ve even coined a new word – “EARidescence” – to describe what Guests will see when they visit. Our Disney teams are creating all sorts of new decorations that will shimmer and sparkle all day and into the night.
As part of the celebration, Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park will add to its royal makeover from last year. The castle will feature golden bunting and a 50th anniversary crest as part of its festive new look.
The castle will add even more magic at night, joined by icons at each of the other three theme parks as they transform into Beacons of Magic, including pixie dust on Cinderella Castle, magical fireflies inhabiting the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and special new touches coming to life on the Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And at EPCOT, new lights will shine across the reflective panels of Spaceship Earth, connecting to one another and resembling stars in a nighttime sky. This permanent new lighting will continue beyond “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” as a defining feature of the park.
Guests will also want to keep an eye out for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who will have sparkling new looks for the celebration. As hosts of the event, they’ll be dressed for the occasion in custom-made fashions of EARidescent fabric with gold highlights.
We’ll have more to share about our plans for this 18-month long “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in the future as we ramp up to the big day on Oct. 1!

2022 Walt Disney World Packages are here! That's a whole 4 months earlier than normal. So for all of you pushing back your Disney vacation till 2022, now's the time to contact me for your non-obligation quote.

Here are some notable details. Feel free to add anything you may notice in the comments below:
We can currently book packages with a start date of July 1, 2022 and earlier. The expectation is that the window will continue to grow by a day with each calendar day that passes.
Dining Plans continue to be unavailable. We hope these will be offered for these 2022 dates once Disney is able to up capacity in its restaurants.
As announced, Magical Express Is no longer an option in 2022. Guests arriving by air are able to book a rental car through Alamo with their package or seek 3rd-party options.
Most resort hotels that are currently closed with no reopening dates are still not available to book for these 2022 dates. The only exception (as far as I can tell) is Boardwalk Inn.
Club Level remains unavailable. Again, our hope is that this is added back once things return to some level of normalcy. What Disney does not want to do is allow guests to book these and then have to cancel them later.
While things may change at some point, at this time, Park Pass Reservations will be in place for 2022 bookings.
