Thanksgiving weekend isn’t just about leftover turkey.

(It's also about leftover pie.) 😉

It's also about making memories, and we've got a few ideas to keep you entertained, fed, and festive this weekend:

🎶 Get into the holiday spirit early! Catch "A Ketchup Christmas" concert at Door Community Auditorium tomorrow night! Your ears will thank you for the merry tunes.

🎁 Shop ‘til you drop at our charming local boutiques. From unique gifts to stocking stuffers, you’ll find treasures at every turn—and get ahead on that Christmas list.

🥾 Walk it off! Bundle up and head to Peninsula State Park for a crisp, invigorating hike. Sweater weather was made for this. Be sure to check the DNR website before you go as some areas of the park are closed for hunting!

🍴Plan your own "progressive dining experience": With plenty of restaurants open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there's no reason why you can't eat your way through a whole day in Fish Creek.

No matter what you decide to do this weekend, consider supporting your favorite Fish Creek business tomorrow for Small Business Saturday!

Discover Winter Fun in Door County!

This Thanksgiving, we invite you to come together with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate and support a great cause in Jacksonport, Wisconsin. The 28th Annual Jacksonport Thanksgiving Parade & Benefit will continue its mission of neighbors helping neighbors through support for a local community member in their time of need. The parade starts off at 10:30 AM and if you watch closely, you can view the parade up to four times on its three block journey through "downtown" Jacksonport.

The parade and benefit will support local businessman Kirk Volkmann, who was recently diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer. The event is organized by Bank of Luxemburg and The Thirsty Cow Taphouse, with support from other bars and sponsors.

If you are unable to attend on Thanksgiving Day, you can still help the cause by sending a check made payable to Kirk Volkmann. Mail it to:

Parade Coordinator Paul Kordon
PO Box 514
Baileys Harbor, WI 54202
