However, a caveat: We're happy to see the white stuff for the next month or so. Then, it's thinking about summer until it happens. 😉

Relive the magic, the mayhem, and maybe that one moment you swore no one caught on camera (don't worry, we've kept the good ones to ourselves 😉).

From chocolatey smiles due to eating all the things at All Things Chocolate to cherry pits in mid-air and Fruit Loop Run outfits worthy of an award, the photos are proof that Winterfest brought the fun, the laughs, and another successful year of shenanigans (even in spite of no snow).

❄️ Winter: Snow-covered trails, frozen bay views, and a beautiful stillness that makes you forget that you're just a teensy bit chilly.

🌸 Spring: Flowers blooming, birds chirping, and the park waking up like it just hit snooze all winter long.

We've been waiting all year to say it: Winterfest kicks off TONIGHT!

Starting at 6 PM, head over to the Peninsula Gun Club, Door County for the Cosmic Glow Shoot— channel that inner sharpshooter with glowing targets under the stars.

The final day of the hunt is here! You have one last chance to track down Max!

Here's the final clue:

The tent is in sight! The lights are all hung.
I am right near the water to await all the fun.
I hide out near a cottage now owned by the Town, to soon become part of the future downtown.

What a ride its been! Remember to bring all of the passwords you collected to Winterfest TOMORROW (!!!) and you'll be entered into the Sasquatch raffle! Winners are announced tomorrow at 10:30 am.

🚨BREAKING NEWS: Max the Sasquatch has escaped into Fish Creek! 🚨 That’s right, folks—our favorite furry fugitive is on the loose starting TODAY, and just so happens to be our number 10 reason to head to Winterfest this year!

Here's how it works. Every day during this week, we'll be giving a clue as to where Max is hiding in Fish Creek. Track him down, and he'll hand over a password. Collect as many passwords as you can between now and Friday, January 31, and bring them to Winterfest this Saturday, February 1 for your shot at some Sasquatch-worthy prizes!

The Fruit Loop Fun Run at Winterfest (Reason #9 to attend the weekend's events!) is NOT your average run.

First, it's hardly a run. Second, it's literally fueled by sugar and creativity.

Here’s the deal: pull on your quirkiest costume and jog, walk, or skip your way through a (very manageable) course, where a bowl of Fruit Loops awaits you at the finish line. That’s right—your reward for all that cardio is a crunchy, colorful bowl of carbs. The race will begin at the Winterfest grounds at Clark Park and end with a post-race gathering at Bayside Tavern, complete with Bloody Mary’s and the heralded Olympic-style awards ceremony.

Sure, Winterfest is all about the great outdoors—ice bowling, bike tossing, cherry pit spitting. But let’s face it, Wisconsin winters can be... brisk. 🥶

There's a new event on Friday, January 31—Peninsula Gun Club, Door County is hosting a Cosmit Glow Shoot! Think laser tag...for grown-ups.

During the festivities on Saturday, February 1, be sure to check out Henna Art at Castle Art & Import LLC at the Top of the Hill Shops. Tell everyone you got a tattoo at Winterfest and watch everyone's faces...you don't have to tell them it's a henna one.

Reason #7 to attend Winterfest: The live music! Because what’s a winter celebration without tunes to keep you warm?

This year, Winterfest brings you two chances to dance the frost off your boots.

❄️ On Saturday, Bacchus Lotus will hit the stage in the Main Tent at 3 pm. Think: All the horns you can handle, the incredible Zephyr Ciesar on lead vocals, and a groove so good you'll forget it's freezing outside.

❄️ Then, for those who believe the party’s just getting started after dark, Ketchup takes the stage at Hill Street starting at 9:30 PM.

Is parking and alternative transportation enough of a reason to attend Winterfest?

Yep.

First, let's talk parking. If there's a lack of street parking, not to worry: We have a public parking lot in the middle of downtown. The lot is located behind the Community Center (4097 Main Street) and has plenty of parking for large vehicles as well as car spaces. There is also parking available in the lot behind Hat Head right on Main Street.

And if you park elsewhere and want to stay there, we've got a solution for that, too. The Door County Trolley, Inc. will be running from 11 am to 4 pm, with stops at Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery, Clark Park, the town parking lot, Julie's Park Cafe, and the Top of the Hill Shops.

Don't let lack of parking keep you from spending the weekend at Winterfest!
