The new Lightening Lane Multi Pass System went into effect today. I’m happy to report we have fully utilized it and thrilled it’s very similar to the old “fast pass” system for those that are familiar.

How it works: 7 days in advance for Disney Resort Guests, 3 days in advance for anyone else visiting Walt Disney World, Lighting Lane Multi Pass can be purchased and you can begin booking 3 Lightening Lane Passes BEFORE your vacation. You can also choose your times. So you have full options to customize it so it best fits into your plans. It’s been a success today in my eyes! Not much we have missed. Currently resting and waiting for the fireworks!

Yeah! Disney for bringing this back. There is a fee per person and it will vary based supply and demand and day of visit. Pricing seen in photos was for today July 24, 2024 and can be different based on your day of visit. These passes can also sell out. The photos below were taken this morning as I was working my way thru the system.

We spent most of our day doing a whole lot of nothing pool side. This evening we visited Old Key West (the original DVC Rental Property) and had dinner at Olivia’s! It was quite tasty. Finished the evening at Disney Springs.

As we are entering into the heavy travel season of spring break, this one is always worth reposting! While I’m pointing out how this is especially helpful for Disney and Universal Parks, we use this travel pharmacy EVERY TIME we travel.

Travel Tip:

Create a travel pharmacy using make up bags. These are especially helpful when visiting Disney and Universal. Specifically if you are not renting a car as it’s more difficult to access medical things you may need or want. Yes Disney and Universal have a small amount of pharmaceutical things available for purchase, but they don’t always have specifically what you want. And it’s expensive. Thinking ahead and pre-packing this will ensure you have what you want if you should need it. Plus once it’s created, it simply just refilling and replacing expired items.

I created a large travel pharmacy and one smaller version to carry with me in the parks. If my park size one runs out, I simply refill from my travel one.

To save space I get rid of almost all bottles meds are packed in and move to zip lock baggies. Write the contents, dosing and expiration on the baggie. I carry a variety of different types of band aids including characters! Because it’s fun to have Star Wars or Trolls. I also include small scissors, a digital thermometer, travel size sunscreen and night lights. The night lights are for the dark hotel room. It can be very disorienting sometimes when you wake up in a strange location for kids and adults. This allows everyone to see their environment in the dark.

I use Walmart Great Value Portion size snack bags. I love the size of these and find they work great. Once packed these take up very little room in your suitcase and you pretty much have everything you could need. Plus this is customizable to your needs and wants.

When you get home, simply put your travel pharmacy in a place where you can find it for your next trip. Refresh and top off as needed.

Not travel related, but certainly worth a mention! Congrats to the The Kansas City Chiefs! So much fun to watch this team and their success. While I wish I was back home with all the fellow Chiefs fans, our small crew here in Indy did plenty of celebrating! Way to go!
