Looking for an easy quick hike?
🥾 Griffith Springs Loop Trail is the perfect hike for a family with young ones or maybe those hiking with elderly. Located just a few miles south of Fort Tuthill on 89A, the loop is a quick mile with some captivating views looking into a small canyon. There is an off shoot trail if you want to add a bit of distance that follows along the spring. I am definitely looking forward to trying this hike again when the snow is melting and the spring might be a bit more active.

Zooming into the weekend! . A few weekends ago our family did the ropes course @flagstaffextreme . We’ve done it a few times over the years but it always feels like a new adventure. This time our youngest who is 13 joined us on the adult course. It is always fun seeing someone try it for the first time. Even though his arm strength was shot (so was mine) he made it through all 5 courses! They also offer a course of just zip lines. Summertime in Arizona can be... how do I say this nicely, absolute hell. It is a dry heat, which we are thankful for but it’s still just plain hot. The only way you can spend time outdoors is if you are in a pool, or waterpark(closed). There is an escape from this heat known as Flagstaff, Arizona. People from all over The state head north to enjoy the outdoors and soak up the cooler weather. . Guests spend time hiking, biking and just plain being outside. .
