Amazing blueberry blossoming this April. If it doesn't frost, we'll have a bumper crop. This time last year we had 3 days of sub freezing temps which took 50% of the crop. Fingers crossed.

FROM THE GUESTBOOK: Cloud 9 was such a welcoming retreat for our family! The space is incredibly functional and also warm and inviting. I love that this was proprietor Janet's family home and that level of love and care really shows.

We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, clean hot tub and large screened in porch. A real highlight for us and in particular our children, were the chickens and bunnies, which we got to feed and hold under Janet's supervision, and picking blueberries from the U-Pick blueberry bushes on the property.

Janet was always willing to reply quickly to any of my questions via text and was proactive in inviting us out to see and interact with the animals and pick the blueberries. This place was a delight and I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The Sons of the American Revolution will be represented. We will recite, sing and we'll voice our concerns about how to be patriotic in these troubled times.

Blueberries are ripe! We are open for picking Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings from 8 am 'til noon. Of course if you have rented one of our cabins, you can pick anytime!

Cloud 9 Relaxation kitchen gets a remodel this year. A reluctant goodbye to cabinets my Dad and Ernie Barnwell made...A nice, clean, modern look using the same footprint to update this 1970 home. Here's a close up of just how much that counter-depth, skinny fridge can hold...a lot. We put the old fridge in the garage for overflow and drinks. We love the picture window, as Mom did, over the sink...you'll beg to wash the dishes.

Sawyer's Cabin framed by Siberian Iris. This small cottage for two with a king bed on the main floor also has a full bed in the loft and three pull outs in the walk out lower level. Surprise!
