We have some of our closest friends from out of state staying with us over the weekend. Went to an apple orchard earlier today and took some fun photos together ♥️ Oh my God I love these two! Very thankful for our friendship together. October marks 10 years together! … Liz & I consider them our family at this point. Our brother and sister. & the kids refer to them as their Aunt & Uncle 🥲

We’re a family of 5. I can’t believe it. 3 kids to try and take care of the best we know how. Most days we feel like we’re just a couple of kids ourselves! We were only 15 when we started dating; and only 20 when we got married. Never would I have imagined that I would marry the same girl I started dating in tenth grade; but here we are! We have a beautiful 6 year old girl who is in first grade, a 3 year old boy who is always living in his own world, and now a 2 day old boy who we are just getting to know but are already completely crazy about. It can feel like a big change having kids. & it sure as hell is. This kind of change is welcomed and intimidating all at once. All in all, I love my family. Some days it feels like it’s all for not. Some days makes me wish I had known these 4 people my entire life. It’s a crazy little thing called love. ♥️ Anyway, here’s a few photos we took through this pregnancy. Since we kept the pregnancy a secret from social media, I figured the secret is out and I should share some photos of my family. ✨

I have such a hard time recently with just taking time to be thankful for what I have. I’ve been stressing out over just about anything someone could. Maybe it’s my time in life to be losing my mind a bit in doubts & worry’s. If I’m not careful, I’ve found that my mind likes to wander in some areas I’d rather not sit in for long. But with all the stress and things of life, it’s easy for me to become a real jackass to my wife & kids. (I’m sorry, Liz, if you’re reading this). I’m trying to take it day by day and enjoy the time we find ourselves in. & trying to enjoy the kids and all the chaos that comes with having a 6 and a 3 year old.
In the words of The Killers,

The memories of Happy Meals.
Sometimes I look at the stars.

My son turned 3 over the weekend. He got a bunch of dinosaur toys & clothes. 🦖♥️ Mom & I love you so much Oliver. I’m so happy that you are my son & I hope as you get older we can be the best of buds together.
