This is an amazing small town event. We have a couple rooms open for that weekend if you’d like to stay for the festivities.

Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6th! It's time for the Floral City Heritage Council's Heritage Days Event Candles, Carols, & Carriages! Join us for fun, food, music, and horse-drawn wagon rides down Orange Avenue. The Avenue will be closed to traffic and lined with luminarias to provide a magical atmosphere. Music will be playing at homes along the avenue. The Floral City Heritage Museum and Country Store will be open, as will the Floral City Library. Our friends at the Duval Metz House are planning fun and informational activities as well. We'll see you there!

Ok my friends, the crew has worked so hard and things are moving forward. The tree and stump have been removed. The surprise water main break has been capped (temporarily). Mom’s car was sadly hauled away and the piles of debris are gone. It was a crazy day at Sunshine Lodge and steps toward returning to our happy peaceful place are in place. Thank you all for your continued concern and prayers.
