We wanted to know how Valentine's Day looked in Florence 100 years ago and they delivered! Attached is an article from the Florence Paper from February 14, 1925 complete with a menu to serve for Cupid and an idea of what to wear as you dress to impress! Wayback Wednesday: The Lawton-Chase House 🏡

Nestled at 558 Spruce Street in Florence, the Lawton-Chase House stands as a striking architectural gem. Completed in 1939 for Joseph Maner Lawton, this unique home was designed by his stepson, Sanborn Chase, while studying engineering at Auburn University. Inspired by the Art Moderne style he admired in France, Chase infused the home with sleek, curved lines, a semicircular glass block entrance, and bold black glass bands near the roofline—truly one of a kind in the P*e Dee region!

Returning families, you will notice a change in the summer schedule from three weeks offered per age group to two. This was done in an effort to restructure the age group pairings to better serve your children. As much as we would love to offer more weeks in the summer, the year-round district schedule has our hands tied. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
