Welcome to the Love Shak at Pickwick!
Looking to get away from the hustle and bustle for some downtime-maybe bait a hook? Located on two acres on The Tennessee River, The Love Shak at Pickwick will appeal to those who want privacy and only want the sound of a boat motor and birds chirping. This house is located across from Koger’s Island, a popular fishing spot for seasoned anglers. The island separates us from the main river so it makes for a great location to pull tubes, swim, jetski and kayak.
You can see the Natchez Trace Bridge from our private boat ramp so you’re just off the scenic parkway if you want to take a ride and enjoy the sights of the serene countryside. If you decide to eat dinner at a nice restaurant, shop, play golf or enjoy a spa day, it’s only a fifteen-mile drive through the country to reach the city conveniences that the Quad Cities offer.
Once you arrive, you’ll know you made the right choice! You have a beautiful view of the river from almost every window. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, each additional bedroom has a queen size bed and there are two beds(one full bed and one twin bed) in the upstairs loft area. You’ll find a primary bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. Also, there is a full bathroom in the hallway for the two additional bedrooms.
The living area is absolutely amazing! With windows from the floor to the ceiling and sliding glass doors that lead to the wrap around deck overlooking the water, natural light is plentiful not to mention the views! There are two couches with recliners on each end, two comfy accent chairs and a large screen smart tv with service provided through Dish Network. An electric fireplace can be found too if you’d like to create an even cozier ambience.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen linens, utensils, cookware, silverware and dishes. You will also find a portable icemaker, a crockpot, waffle iron, coffee maker and Keurig machine.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer. It also has a large table with three bar stools that can be used for additional dining. It can be a great space to set up an office if you need to spread out your computer and paperwork or if the kids want to bring a computer to game.
Outside, the screened in deck is a great place to cozy up with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. For those with boats, you can launch it from the boat ramp in the backyard or drive across the bridge to Colbert Ferry.
