A clean and comfortable home in West Florence, SC. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus everything you need during your visit.

To make a reservation, please go to AirBnB.com. Joy and Ken are former Florence residents who are now "snow birds" from New England who spend winters at Quail Pointe House. For the rest of the year, they offer their winter home to others who have need of a temporary residence.

My last guest, Burton, sent this glowing review plus a 5-star rating: "When I pulled up and saw the flower bed I knew this was going to be a great stay. The house is on a quiet street and is comfortable and well organized with kitchen basics such as knives and cutting boards. Joy is very responsive. I would definitely stay here again."

"My tennis team came to Florence for the state championship, and we were extremely fortunate to find this airbnb. The accommodations were awesome and Joy the host had everything so organized and supplied extras to where we didn’t have to bring much at all. She was very quick to respond if we had questions and needed anything. We will definitely stay there again in the future! Thank you Joy for making it a wonderful stay and experience!"

Nice reviews like the one I just received from our last guest explain why I've achieved Superhost status again.
Deirdre wrote: "Joy is absolutely amazing. She didn't hesitate to extend my stay when my flight was canceled. Joy thinks of everything including binders with things to do in the area, small library and game corner. The house was immaculate in a quite neighborhood. Very close to shopping centers and grocery stores. bathrooms are fabulous. I would definitely book with Joy again."

Union Maj. Gen. Gordon Granger and his troops arrived at Galveston on June 19, 1865--two years after the Emancipation Proclamation--with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. That was more than two months after Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union Gen. Ulysses S. Grant in Virginia.
