Thank You Everyone for Joining Our Tours and Telling Friends and Family Since 1998

Our growth since launching our new program in 2010 was faster and greater than we ever expected!
After seeing the impact on back country trails, this summer we committed ourselves to scaling back our wilderness tours by 2018

On January 24th, 2015, 3 years ahead of schedule, our tours have stopped

While we work with the new superintendent and wonderful park staff to develop a program we fell can be sustainable to Commercial Use Companies;
There are fantastic Ranger Led Programs, Self Touring Opportunities and Weekend Trolleys.

We are still hard at work supporting the Everglades and helping visitors plan a great day or back country excursion
Call us today and we will take the time to get you prepared for your self guided adventure until our new program is ready to go!

Starting this Sunday Everglades National Park will offer over 85 free ranger-led programs for the public each week through March 28th, 2015! These programs include guided walks, talks, bike rides, hikes, canoe trips, evening programs and more!

Each year an average of 80,000 visitors participate in a ranger-led program at Everglades, over a half million people explore the park’s visitor centers, museum and art gallery; and many also enjoy the park in self-guided adventures, bringing the total to about one million visitors each year.

(Key Largo) had on 11/22 and 12/6. Some of our people and Hostelers were volunteering to restore a Keys Hammock Habitat. We got the wonderful chance to get a tour into the backcountry of the Refuge which is generally closed to the public. Thanks to Ralph we also got a great introduction into the Habitats, their problems, endangered animals and especially Ralph's favorite project, the endangered that is building huge twig nests into the Hammocks. Thanks for this special opportunity.

Yes, they do really exist in : the ! Rarely seen by visitors, they are a major food source for many animals and especially the white ibises. They are also important predators on smaller animals, so they have a central position in the foodwebs of their aquatic environment.
Unfortunately this Crayfish which we have found on a in a Dome, has already lost his big claws and was about to die.

It is wonderful to have Biscayne National Park protecting most part of Biscayne Bay. It is a beautiful place to go and see how the south eastern coasts of Florida had been before the development of the big Cities and the Beaches. Thanks .

Heart in the Park

Biscayne National Park is at the physical and metaphorical heart of South Florida. It’s four ecosystems—the mangrove shoreline, the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay, the northernmost Florida Keys, and the northern part of the Florida Reef—resemble the four chambers of the heart that work harmoniously together to keep the body of Biscayne alive. This heart’s lifeblood is water, which provides sustenance for all living things in the bay, on the reefs, and throughout South Florida and the world.

How is Biscayne close to your heart?
