This is a privately owned cabin that's available for rent throughout the year! Enjoy this relaxing mountain getaway - perfect for a couple or a gathering of 8-10! This secluded home sits nestled in the side of a hill on 3 acres of land, overlooking the Florissant Heights valley near Crystal Peak Mountain with views of Pikes Peak! ive panoramic views of nature all around. While you can't see them, full-time neighbors live just down the road. There's a hot tub that fits 5 on the 350 sqft of decks wrapping around the home. A grill for barbecuing and seating all around allow for outdoor entertaining and fun on a beautiful summer night. There's even a tire swing and outdoor games! Inside you'll find the master bedroom loft overlooking the living room and amazing mountain views to wake up to in the mornings. There's a wood burning fireplace to cozy up to on cold winter nights and we do have a TV with satellite coverage, a DVD player and VCR for watching movies. For those looking for cell phone coverage this is the spot as we get coverage with most cell phone carriers (Verizon works the best, AT&T not so much). The fully stocked kitchen is plenty big to prepare meals and the dedicated dining room has seating for all. Plus we've stocked board games as well as a pool table in the basement. You're only about 25 miles away from Woodland Park and around 15 min away from groceries, liquor store, dining, etc. There's tons of hiking trails, state parks, and the Wolf Sanctuary all nearby. Cripple Creek is not far for casino gambling and you're about 90 minutes away from Breckenridge for skiing. 11 mile reservoir is only about 30 minutes away for fishing and boating. And there's even the North Pole, Pikes Peak, fossil beds, a Dinosaur museum, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods and much more just a short drive away. Or, just stick around the cabin for some seclusion. This is the perfect place to come enjoy a relaxing time in the mountains of Colorado!

This is a privately owned “cabin” that's available for rent throughout the year!

My wife and I purchased this home in 2016 with the idea of sharing its beauty with our friends and family. We were immediately drawn to the views and how cozy and secluded the home felt when we walked in. It’s big enough to host our families for gatherings while still feeling comfortable for just the two of us. It’s not a cabin in the small, single-room sense, but rather a spacious cozy home in the mountains. We knew that this gem was too perfect to hide away, so we’ve opened it up for guests around the world to enjoy! Experience this relaxing mountain getaway - perfect for a couple looking for a quiet retreat or for gatherings of friends and family as big as 8-10 guests! This secluded home sits nestled in the side of a hill on 3 acres of land, overlooking the Florissant Heights valley near Crystal Peak Mountain with views of Pikes Peak! The enormous wall of 10 windows reaching 28 feet to the vaulted ceilings give panoramic views of trees, mountains, wildlife, and nature. There are full-time neighbors living just out of sight down the road and around the corner. We have a beautiful new hot tub that fits 6+ people with 270 degree views of the mountains and forest including Pikes peak during the day and of a sky full of sparkling stars at night. Our 1,300 sqft of deck wraps around 3 sides of the home giving you spectacular views. Plus, our large 1100 sqft patio out back is perfect for a game of corn hole, giant jenga, giant connect four, or to sit and enjoy the fire pit while surrounded by nature! A grill for barbecuing and seating all around allow for outdoor entertaining and fun on a beautiful summer night. There is even a tire swing down the hill and a hammock among the aspens!

Inside you'll find the master bedroom loft overlooking the living room and amazing mountain views greeting you every morning. We have 2 other bedrooms and 1.5 baths on the main floor and a 4th bedroom with its own full bathroom in the basement. A wood burning fireplace is perfect to get cozy on cold winter nights. And we have lots of board games, cards, puzzles, books, and a TV with DISH satellite, a VCR & DVD player for watching movies, and even an old NES and PS2. Plus there is even a pool table in the basement. For those looking for cell phone coverage this is the spot as we get coverage with most cell phone carriers (Verizon works the best, AT&T not so much). The fully stocked kitchen is plenty big to prepare meals and the dedicated dining room has seating for all. You're only about 20 miles away from Woodland Park and maybe 15 min away from groceries, a liquor store, dining, and more. There's tons of hiking trails, state parks, and even fossil beds near by. Ever wanted to interact with a wolf up close? The Wolf Sanctuary has an amazing interactive experience for the whole family and is only about 15 min away.
