Genie Plus is officially gone and welcome to the Lightning Lane Multi Pass era! Below are screen shots of what the new system looks like when you go into My Disney Experience to book future dates (these are for Friday 7/26). So far, it seems those who have used it have enjoyed it much more than the old system.

🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS!🚨🚨

Today, Disney announced starting July 24th, they will change the way Genie+ and Lightning Lane work at Walt Disney World!

Genie+ will be replaced with “Lightning Lane Multi Pass”. This pass allows you to make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in one theme park before your visit. Once you've scanned into the park and used at least one of your selections, you can check the app for additional selections on your day at the park!

Lightning Lane Single Pass will work very similarly to how it does today, where you can purchase a single Lightning Lane for high-demand rides such as Rise of the Resistance, TRON, etc.

The difference now is that guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can purchase both of these options up to 7 days in advance for their entire stay (up to 14 days)!

No official word from Disney yet (although it is expected to be announced VERY soon), but several online sources have reported Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain) will open June 28th! Who’s excited to see this reimagined attraction?

Disney announced dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party today! Updates this year include new outfits for Mickey and Minnie, more Villian sightings, a meet and greet with Bruno, and an earlier parade start time!

Tickets for on site guests go on sale May 8th and all other guests May 15th. Be sure to buy early to insure you get to attend the date you prefer since ALL dates sold out last year!

🚨🚨BIG changes coming to Disney’s Disability Access System (DAS)!!🚨🚨

Disney announced today that there will be some changes coming to their Disability Access Service (DAS) beginning on May 20, 2024.

Notable changes include:

💻 DAS Enrollment approval will be valid for 120 day, up from the current 60 days.

🎢 Pre-arrival attraction selections will no longer be offered to every DAS guest by default.

📲 In-person registration will no longer be offered at in-park guest relations locations. All registration will occur via virtual chat.

🩺 Disney cast members will work with Inspire Health Alliance health professionals to determine guest eligibility for DAS.

🚶‍♀️ A new "return to queue" process will be established to allow guests a way to leave the queue and then return, if needed. More information on that will be made available at a later date.
