We have had an incredible fall here in Floyd

Thank you to all who helped us pull off a feeding mission to Mitchell County N.C.
I am humbled by your generosity and all who donated should know that you were appreciated and loved.
We landed at Bethel Baptist church, one of the Operations centers. I have to Thank all of the wonderful volunteers at the church also. Most who had no services either.
We fed many healthy meals, we saw tears of joy/ relief for folks that hadn't had hot food or greens in weeks.
Thank you Johanna Morrison and Tabitha Oshields who are my fellow feeders Two Trees Catering and thank you Marcie Morrison and Chris Boyer to getting us on the road and support!
We fed nearly 2000 meals. A small comfort and had another caterer relieved us after 4+ days.
Put your best thoughts towards all of these communities, it will be a long road to any sort of recovery. And, thank you again!

Floyd is setting up for great summer fun. We are super excited. Epperly Mill still has some summer vacancies with a relaxing stay on Dodd Creek.

We are excited to announce our 7th Annual Floyd Small Town Summer Event Series in the Warren G Lineberry Memorial Park in beautiful downtown Floyd, Virginia!

This free event series is presented by Town Of Floyd, VA and runs from June 6th until August 29th!

We have a little something for everyone: old time and bluegrass; Americana and country; classic soul and R&B; a Louisiana-themed party; reggae and world music; and a special celebration of The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail's 20th Anniversary!

We have a whole lot of fun activities for the entire family this year. Stay tuned for updates about movie nights, and special fun activities at each event featuring local organizations!

Every other Thursday night in the park starting June 6!
