Welcome to Uncle Charlie's Charters! Meet Cat Sidwell, the Owner and Captain of Uncle Charlie's Charters. Cat has spent most of their life on the water and began surfing at the age of 8 spending summers in the Florida Keys exploring the ocean by boat at a very young age.
Growing up in South Carolina, Cat found a sense of belonging in the water and eventually moved to Costa Rica to surf. The endless desire to explore new waves eventually drew Cat to Santa Cruz, CA where they explored the Monterey Bay and enjoyed all that the California coast has to offer. Cat moved back home to Folly Beach, SC in 2019.
With diverse experience navigating the ocean by boat Cat brings a knowledgable poise and unique sense of wonder to each tour. Cat's love for the water and appreciation for nature make for an unforgettable Charleston experience.
