Here are a few more shots from our manatee encounter yesterday! If you look closely, you can see that at least one of them has scars from a propellor strike.
Be on the lookout if you're boating in the Folly River. They've probably moved on, but you never know.

Very cool sighting today of a group of manatees swimming in the Folly River! Made a sighting submission to SCDNR.
If you’re on the river the next couple of days, keep a sharp eye out!

If you haven’t tried the Donut Daddy food truck on Folly yet for their delicious fresh-made mini donuts, you’re really missing out!
But, here is a pro-tip, they also have this awesome homemade watermelon limeade that really hits the spot on a warm summer day…I also hear that it’s especially good with a little shot of tequila! 😜
Look for them next to the Hotel Folly on Center Street. Good folks and good grub!

Great fossil hunt yesterday with a great family visiting from NC! The kids were quick studies and were zeroing in on fossils like crazy!

Kayak found in the Folly River near his morning. Reported to Public Safety and was told one was reported lost lasr night. Taken to Folly boat ramp to be reclaimed by owner.
