Diane and Adam here. Greetings from beautiful Washington DC. We have been in our Nations Capital for the past four days. The weather is lovely! We have not only seen cherry trees , but also tulip trees, flowering pear, ornamental crab, red bud and, dogwoods. Spring is alive with azaleas, tulips, daffodils and many others! The grass is a bright healthy green! Add to all this ... the Monuments that celebrate our Veterans and those who paid the ultimate price. Freedom isn't free! Our Nations Capital is a stark reminder of that. Hey..We even managed to watch the Eclipse from the Air and Space Museum today! Our driver, MN Coach , Brian is doing an amazing job getting us to all the sites safely and on time. We have a wonderful group of travelers who have a great appreciation for American History! Life is good. Here are some photos of our amazing trip to DC so far.

Well, my Dear Happy Trails Family,
I ventured out into the bleak Northwoods Minnesota Snowstorm... With a 4-wheel plow truck! I plowed 7 - 8 inches of heavy wet snow. I also managed to get 20 of the requested Southwest Winter Escape Brochures off in the mail. That's going to fill quickly!!! I even included a few Black Hills, Door County and New England in the batch. Watch your mail! Now, I'm having a cup of coffee and waiting for the next predicted 6-9 inches to come in. 😩

Greetings, Happy Trails Family!
Diane here! March came in like a Lamb and it's going out like a Lion! Our office is closed due to the snow storm.
We have been very busy preparing for two big tours scheduled to leave soon. Lion King (this Thursday ) and Washington DC (April 3-13). I just finished writing our 2025 Southwest Winter Escape -Route 66 with seven nights in Scottsdale. Brochures are ready! Our 2025 Norway and 2025 Poland tours are also ready.
We are still taking reservations for our 2024 New England tour that leaves in late September. Add to this fall .. we have an amazing Black Hills Tour in early September (not October).
Our phone lines (Century Link) have been down since last Saturday, as well as our Internet. Hopefully our website will be updated by the end of this week and our phone lines and Internet will be restored by this evening!

Our Nashville tour was just wonderful! This group of travelers were so much fun! The tour was filled with music, good food, history and more! We unwrapped a few cool surprises (the Bluebird Cafe, Christmas at the Opry Show along with Santa driving us around just to name a few) It's hard to believe these past seven days are now coming to an end! Merry Christmas, Dear friends! As we look forward to the New Year, we wish you all our very best!

Another wonderful day on the Road to Nashville. It's refreshing to see all the red buds, dogwoods and flowering shrubbery and trees leafed out along the interstate. Spring has sprung! This is our second day and it's interesting to see how each hotel is managing groups post Covid. Everyone is very cautious and respectful yet allowing people to feel welcome and safe. Either the staff is serving us cafeteria style or there are gloves provided and we can help ourselves. Both hotels have been lovely. I can honestly say, I have never felt more welcome in all my 37 years of being in the travel business. I see lots of smiles everywhere.
An exciting thing happened this morning! For the first time in over a year, travel documents were mailed to my Happy Trails family for our upcoming bus tour to Nashville, Tennessee! Yes! We are beyond excited that this day offers hope for a brighter tomorrow! If you are one of the lucky ones on this tour, watch your mail, my friends! We are Nashville, Tennessee Bound!
