We have made a few changes to the cottage: some new furniture, rugs and lamps. A new back deck is being added within the next few weeks and a picnic table will be added to the fire pit area. There is nothing like enjoying a hotdog or marshmallows roasted over on open fire pit.

Dogwood Cottage will be officially opening for the season on April 10, 2021.

Within 20-60 miles, there are multiple areas of interest, including: the New River Gorge area, the Underground Coal Mine in Beckley, the State Fair grounds in Lewisburg, the Bluestone Dam, and many quaint local shops and restaurants.

Second Saturdays in Hinton, WV will start on May 8th with Mecot Camara Memorial Ride followed by evening concert on the Courthouse lawn.

June 12, 2021, Color The River will be returning. July 10, August 14, and September 11 will be loaded with many festivities in Hinton including food and music.

Dogwood Cottage is located on the Greenbrier River with access to canoeing, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and swimming. The cottage is equipped with all you need for a relaxing-pleasant stay. There is a fire pit in the back yard if you enjoy sitting by the fire, roasting a marshmallow, and enjoy a quiet peaceful evening under the stars.
