A mama Osprey built her nest on the cables of the Virgelle Ferry. As the mechanism takes the passengers and vehicles across, the nest also gets a ride going back and forth across the river. The mama Osprey sits on the cables watching over her nest. Sort of precarious but also neat to watch.

Cooking mania
First trip of the season on Monday, and we couldn't be more excited. The preparation process is one of our favorite aspects of owning the business. Usually, over the course of two months, we cook, wine, dine and enjoy what we love - COOKING FOR PEOPLE. This year was different - we waited until the last minute because of the uncertainty... oh yea, and we decided to go on the Middle Fork of the Salmon last week! So, we have been hustling and bustling to cook, shop, prep and more. What you can't see at the end of the time lapse, is the fact that we decided, amid this all, to cook a 23 pound turkey for enchiladas!!! Haha, and this vegetarian nailed it according to Brett! Cheers to finally getting on our beloved river!
