MAKEUP TRIP...AND AN EPIC ONE! Cherielle brought her fam fishing in early August when, of course, the perfect storm ended their trip early. We offered a return trip for this crew and anyone else she wanted to invite as we fully understand the frustration of not being able to fish when you want to! She offered her son Nash options as to what he wanted to do for his high school graduation present. Nash said, let's go fishing again and take Pikes Peak Fishing Charters up on their offer! They returned from Kansas and absolutely crushed this day on the ice. There were multiple trout caught over 20" which included several brown trout, cutbow trout, and rainbow trout. Oh wait, then we had a late afternoon Tiger Muskie caught! The day continued to get better...for the second to last fish of the day, Nash got back on the rod after selflessly giving it to others throughout the day and pulled in the trophy trout of the day! Nash landed a 25.5 inch brown trout! He fought this beast like a trained fishing savage and concluded the memorable moment for this team of fishing ninjas!

It was great having you back and meeting your new family friends! Thank you guys for your help getting back today! This group insisted on helping their guides close up shop and haul all the weight back to the parking lot...they only saved us like 2 hours!!! Thanks again crew you were a lot of hard working good people and Cori, Trout, and I appreciated all the goodness you brought today!

Hope to see you for round #3!!!!!!!

Tiger Muskie Master Angler Award! As we wrap up a phenomenal 2024 season, every day closer to the new year brings great surprises! For example, Florida team led by Jon brought his fam/crew of 7 (so sorry your sister couldn't make it) and crushed this epic day on the ice! They brought not only fishing experience, but phenomenal attitudes and even had race competitions to see who could get to the bit fishing poles first! Did I mention we had snowball fights, a snowman build, and even targeted snowball throwing for distance and accuracy! The fishing crown goes to...MEG! She brought in a beautiful Tiger Muskie which of course is a Colorado Master Angler Award!
This one of the most rare catches in our state and she was a master. She showed patience, a tolerance for the cold, and a smooth 10 minute fight throughout. The team pulled in double digit cutbow and rainbow trout, and went home with the freshest of fresh Colorado Trout! Looks like we will all be fishing together in a few days and we can't wait to have your group out again. You guys were awesome and we are all kinds of excited you came out on the ice with us today! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! First fishing trip ever for 2 year old fish slayer Braxton! Nothing like pulling a monster trout through the ice on your first trip ever! Master Angler Award earned and Ice Fishing goodness was all that went down on this day! Brandon and Leann crushed their first ice fishing trip hitting double digit trout through the ice! They were naturals on the ice and showed up to a nice warm ice fishing hut (we set up prior to everyone arriving). Then the big dog decided to bite. So a 23.5" cutbow trout hit the line and gave a great fight before being brought through the ice for a well earned Master Angler Award by Leann! Congratulations on your award and it was great having you out on the ice!

Brian AKA “The Honey Badger” spent a couple days fishing with Pikes Peak Fishing Charters! See below but he pulled in all the trout including a 22”, 23”, 25”, and a 26”! All monster fish! Oh yeah, Badger had never fly fished before but he was a natural. I had a great time with you, bud and counting down the days until trip number four!

1.5" away from the state record! So Tina booked a trip for friend Jamie...and he pulled in the fish of a lifetime! Take a look at this prehistoric monster! 1.5" away from the catch and release record. Sadly the Pike wasn't going to survive so it was harvested but look at this beauty! One word...dominate! Great work and safest of travels home!

15 Master Angler Awards!!!!! Tim came back and brought friend Erik and these two decimated this day on the water...between the two of them, they caught 15 trout 22" and bigger! You guys absolutely established dominance and we really appreciate you continuing to choose Pikes Peak Fishing Charters!

What's better than earning a Colorado Parks and Wildlife Master Angler Award?!?!?!...earning three of those bad boys! Rodney led the charge with a 27" brown trout weighing in at 9lbs! Then the other two fishing ninjas Denise landed a beautiful 24" brown trout and Snook brought in a 22" brown trout! This was a fishing crew right here and were an absolute pleasure to have on board for this trophy trip of nothing but goodness!
