Christmas Eve glow that Tamo Hot Air Balloon did this heart was prominent. As our pilot Tamie Orr glowed a Christmas message was delivered.
Tamie has a thing about heart experiences when she has Te amo out.
This year at AIBF friend and pilot Colleen Johnson has a sponsor that is about organ donation. A precious little that was out was a recipient of a heart transplant not long ago, we gave this sweet little some Te amo swag. At the Christmas Eve glow the mom and the little walked up to say hi. Tamie with tears in her eyes was again touched by how well the little girl is doing and her mom mentioned it is her first Christmas at home!!! It was a wonderful Christmas gift to see the joy in the mom’s eyes and how much the little has grown and how well she is doing, even just since Fiesta! You never know who you touch, how amazing things come from simple things and kindness is worth everything! This is what Christmas is! ♥️ All from a sponsor at Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!

This is NOT pictures of my Te aMo but pictures of pathetic attempt at replication. Some would say:

“Imitation is the sincerest for of flattery“

I completely disagree and in my opinion; it is disrespectful at best and lacks originality and imagination. While someone else is benefiting from something they did not create or imagine on their own.
My balloons are both very personal and MINE. I take great offense to this and in no way approve of the replication of any of my balloons, the likeness of them or parts of them that I created, imagined especially in or on another balloon.

For the most part people have been respectful and asked permission for using or creating using either of my balloons likeness, for that I am thankful. There have been a couple situations prior to this, and I’m positive that those individuals are clear where I stand on this.

Let my originality be an inspiration for you to create your own, or go to AirFly Balloons or Kubicek Balloons to create your own!

My team is truly amazing. Thursday morning of Shape days at Fiesta: we were in a new spot for us (L1) the balloon of the day takes off behind us. I returned to my spot to find my crew not there (with exception to a couple). I ask where is everyone? I was told that the balloon of the day had a huge crowd and my team went to assist that team. I look over to see Rainbow Ryder is the balloon of the day with Tony Sandlin piloting. It’s a bit breezy and the crowd was huge. I walk over and my crew has helped clear a path for the balloon to launch safely and I walk over to say hi to Tony, who asks for weight on from me and while he is waiting to be launched by the zebras in perfect timing with the national anthem. Tony says, “guess who is flying with me?” Showing me he has Scotty with him in flight. A very special flight for Tony, Rainbow and the crew.
I was pleased to see my team step up and help out when needed, making it safer and easier on that crew, zebras and pilot!
We are nothing without crew!
