Hope most people avoided any real issues from yesterday’s storm. Our boys’ fields in the park did not get missed by the wind and rain. Field 3 and 2 received damage from falling trees and/or branches. Field three will be unusable for the foreseeable future as it received the most damage. Please be patience while we are working on repairs and cleanup. Thank you!

Tomorrow 7/9 the fields at Harry J Betar Jr. Recreational Park will be closed for fertilizer spraying. The playing fields (green space, softball, baseball, and all other fields) will be closed for 24 hours. The flags around the park will have the times on when they can be played on. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Saturday the park was filled with volunteers! We like to thank South Glens Falls Youth Baseball , South Glens Falls Girls Softball , The Moreau Community Center, and The South High LAX boy’s team who helped on EarthDay Clean-up at the park. Our fields and the park is looking better with all your efforts. Thank you parents, players, and all who had a part.

Moreau Fun Days is making a comeback!
We are looking for community-minded individuals to be part of the Fun Days Committee. The committee will work with the Rec Director to participate in the planning of Fun Days and/or volunteer during the event.
