We had a great time at “Parent & Me”! Mark your calendars parents, every Wednesday from 10am-11am we meet at the Arts&Crafts Center for storytime and a craft.
$3 per child, includes craft. Up to age 8 are welcome☺️

Here’s a recent project spotlight!
12x15 Alder plaque fitted with gold standoffs with an Arizona state cut out made of clear acrylic later engraved with a message. The 305th’s MI “Kraken” cut out in multiple pieces then layered to make its appearance on the center of the plaque.

On today’s feature we have the MI Soldier with Field Phone, Eagle on the Rock (Glass can be engraved with your message) and….
The Medium Buffalo Soldier, all available for your choosing.
All three can be engraved. Eagle on Rock on the glass and both Soldiers, your choice, of black/gold metal, gold/black plastic, silver/black plastic or metal and other materials.

Join us Saturday for a fun Sip & Create art class. No experience required! In this art class for adults, we provide a 16x20 canvas, paint, aprons and light appetizers as well as two beverages of your choice including wine, beer, soda & water. Our instructor will guide you step-by-step through an original piece of art. At the end of the night, you'll take home a one-of-a-kind masterpiece and hopefully a new-found talent! We have to order supplies (and beverages!) in advance, so registration is required. Stop by the Arts & Crafts Center or call (520) 533-2015 to register.

Visit the Arts & Crafts Center to find a Children's Lending Library. Come in and take a book or share a book, noon to 5pm Tuesday - Saturday. https://huachuca.armymwr.com/programs/arts-crafts-center
Have your kids or teens reached the reading goal of 1000 minutes for kids ages 5-11 and teens ages 12-17 or 500 minutes for kids ages four and under? If they have, come to the library and pick up a completion prize! Kids and teens can choose two books and receive a coupon for a tasty treat from our local Culver's. A big thank you to the Friends of the Sierra Vista Public Library and Culver's for supporting the Summer Reading program!
